Firstly, I'd like to apologise now - I have tried to search for this, but search never ever finds anything - heck I can type the word "keep" and nothing will display, offering to take me to advanced options, yet I know for a fact there are several threads with keep in both the title and the main text.
So now the apology is out of the way...
I have completed Paragon of Her Kind, and I'm now trying to find Kardol in Orzammar to try and persuade him to help, but I cannot find him. I've searched all over the Diamond area (including shapers, assembly and palace) and Commons but I just cannot find him - do I have to go back down Deep Roads to find him again?
Thanks in advance
Sher

I'd guess so, but can't be sure, since I've always spoken to him then. It shouldn't be a problem though, you'll still get your dwarven allies in the final battle, but Kardol won't be on the roof of Fort Drakon. At least, that's what I'd expect.
Edit:
According to the wiki: 'An additional quasi-ally is available as well: the opportunity to recruit the Legion of the Dead will arise after crowning a new King. Kardol will see you outside the palace to thank you for solving the succession crisis; you can persuade him to join (dwarven wardens need only ask, non-dwarves must pass a high persuade check), and they will integrate into the regular dwarven units, becoming half of the unit, and Kardol himself will fight alongside you against the Archdemon.'
This indicates that if you fail the persuade check, you don't get Kardol and the Legion anyway. So if you've lost him it's not a big deal.

Except Kardol and the LoD are seriously tough guys. I love seeing them at the final fight.

You see them at the final fight? I never seen them there. If you can, can you point our where you saw them...?

The legion of the dead are mixed up with the regular dwarves, as noted in that excerpt from the wiki - if you call on the dwarves in the final onslaught, you'll see dwarves in legion of the dead armour. Kardol himself will be on the roof, as will Irving, Eamon, etc.
