They also haven't been announced today on any of the BW channels. I do think you logic is probably correct and if you choose to wait there will still be some available. However, the price will not drop until late April. ( that doesn't mean there won't be some sort of sale in between now and then :-p )

expect sales to increase after the release of DA2 as more people get hooked.

I'm thinking the same thing. Once the game comes out and people play though the areas illustrated in the lithographs I can forsee the demand becoming much higher for these. I dont think the Citadel or the Normandy would have sold anywhere near as quick had they been up prior to the release of ME1.

I figured I'd get in early this time and beat the rush on the premise that DA2 will be awesome and validate my habitual lithograph purchasing!

Edit: typo

Wow massive difference from the ME lithos, which sell out in like 20 mins maximum. Ah, too bad that I'm not interested in DA lithos and eager to get the whole collection of ME ones.

Got both, the wife liked the look of them so they might end up in the master bedroom :)

I too expect a sales jump once DA2 is out, provided DA2 is nearly as nearly good of an experience as the first. Hard to get more than the hard core fans excited enough to run out and buy merchandise for a game that isn't out yet.

As for Pragia and Purgatory, we all made our own decisions regarding those. They are not at all iconic settings for ME2, as you spent, what, 30-45 minutes in each, possibly none on Pragia if you told Jack to clam up on her loyalty mission? I'm happy with Pragia. I think it really looks fantastic. As for Purgatory, well, at least I'm supporting Bioware.

I guess that's the thing for me. I'm not expecting them to last forever, and maybe not even until the price drops. These are much more iconic lithographs than the first two. At the same time, there's no need to buy them in the first 5 minutes like the ME ones. I like them, and I plan to get them, but if I can hold off for a while and give it a little time that'd be nice too. I love the lithos, but the frequency is getting pretty often. That little break while you were upgrading the store's backend was really nice.

It's rather a nice change that these can be ordered in a more relaxed manner than some of the recent ME lithographs.  That was just getting quite silly, and if I keep doing that, the stress will finish me off!

I like the Kirkwall Keep litho but I'll be honest - I have little interest in generic setting lithos (for that price) and absolutely no interest in Standard Shep/Hawke. I'm sure if they released some character lithos from DA2 of interesting characters you'd see them disappearing from the store just as quickly as the ME2 ones (maybe not as fast as Tali/Miranda till after launch though).

Part of what boggles my mind is why Bioware/EA keeps advertising Shep/Hawke when the vast majority of people won't be playing a character that looks like that. They should have characters like Tali/Garrus on the front cover of ME3 and a few of the interesting characters from DA2 being the center of attention for DA2. Ah well.

I think the "vast majority" play the game with the default character, at least for their first time through. I have seven friends who play ME and all of them use the default male Shep. And why advertise with characters that a lot of people won't even use? I can guarantee there are a lot more default Shep users than Tali or Garrus users.

I have to confess, I only use the default Shep. I can't imagine using anything else. To me he IS the franchise, and using a different appearance just seems...wrong. I know that's just me, and for those who love designing their own, more power to you, but there are definitely hard core default Shep lovers out there. =)

Wow!  I would have thought #1 would be hanging in a Bioware office!   I'm impressed and totally jealous!!

Of course you know the resell value for that will be massive if you ever consider it!!  ^_^

Yeah, I have been seeing single digit numbered Mass Effect Lithos going for thousands of dollars on eBay. None of which are number one though. But it also seems that the Mass Effect ones are far more popular than the Dragon Age ones, so who knows what it would really be worth?

Listed and being sold are two wildly different things. Low numbered ME lithos have been listed for thousands of dollars, but I haven't seen any actually sell for that.

Yeah, I don't really understand the sellers describing them as "rarer" and such since they're as much a part of the 300/500/whatever limit as the three digit numbers.  That's not to say they're not cool to have (especially having no. 1!) but I'm not sure that "cool" would translate into actual money.

But that said, I don't want to take away from Mr "Look at my #1 lithograph!" there as it is cool I'm sure I'd brag at least as much.

People put a lot of weight behind low numbers in these kind of things. Sell value really isn't a very big deal to me though; I have very little interest in actually trying to sell it. If anything I would try to send it to the folks at Bioware and have the dev team sign it. But that is very unlikely, so now its all about finding a framing solution that is worthy of it. I'm thinking some kind of dark 1 1/2" frame with a double mat of grey and dark red would be nice.

Likely the runner up for the "Deep Roads" Litho:

Thoughts? Agree/disagree with the choice?  ...personally, I prefer the above, but meh...kinda doesn't matter, but still interested (and maybe this could be the 2nd Deep Roads Litho? :D)

That one is great too, but I prefer the one that is out there. I like the theme of a party traveling through the roads. The one above reminds me of a warden following "the calling" down into the deep roads, however, which is awesome in its own right, and perhaps provokes a bit more emotion.

I like the runner up better :) . The one in the store is too symmetric and "aseptic," also too similar to Kirkwall Deep perspective wise and the people are in almost the same spot.

In my opinion, the Deep Roads listed in the store is better. It conveys a sense of magnitude the one above does not, as well as a sense of companionship. I'm not a big fan of the current litho, but I think it serves its purpose of illustrating the scenery well. The one above, while a great piece of art, could easily be passed off as a simple corridor.

Congratulations Sunrider! I'm rather jealous. Now more excited to see my lithograph when it arrives. From the little bit of the picture I can see in your shot it looks better in "real life" than the preview on the store.

On another note its nice to see from someone who actually has gotten a #1, I was begining to think they were the stuff of legend
