I just downloaded and finished reading The Stolen Throne and The Calling on my Kindle.. And I absolutely loved them! The stories are excellent, and it makes me wish there was DLC or prequels to DAO that would let me play out those stories.

Are you planning to write any new books based on the lore of Dragon Age 2? Perhaps some more prequel fiction that will not be told in the game?

Thanks!

I agree. Two of my favorite novels to read numerous times (especially The Stolen Throne). Would absolutely love to have more!

Asked and answered here- "chances are good."  Not necessarily on DA2 I guess, just Thedas-based novels.

God created the world in seven days. I am sure Maker David will write his book in like 7 minutes. And then give me the book in a dramatic fashion atop a mountain and ask me to spread the word.

Not Dragon Age 2. But for fututre installments, it's likely.

I thought the Calling was decent. Never read Stolen Throne.

Well, the first two weren't exactly "for" Origins. I'm happier to have books filling in the gaps between games and further exploring the world than being more directly tied to game plots.

In one interview, Gaider suggested it was possible that DA novels might be written by other people -- I would be disappointed!

Oh my goodness, he's implying that he has hidden the new book. Is it in my apartment?

But any Magic 8 Ball can provide that answer.

Actually, some time ago Mr. Gaider indicated that while he'd like to write more book style stuff, he was so overloaded during the Origins stuff that He's Not Doing It Again Right Now Thank You So Very Much. So, POSSIBLY after II comes out, but NOT NOW THIS INSTANT.

I'd suggest a book every 3 months.

Is there any better way to kick off a new book? I think not. Posted Image

Yes please, moar books!  I loved The Calling so much I read it in four days (which perhaps doesn't say much to you, but it's been quite a while since I read a book in "one" go).
Seriously, Gaider, you're one of the best authors I've read when it comes to character development. It really made the setting so much richer having read The Stolen Throne and The Calling and I would love it if you would be so kind to continue writing about the world.
