Bet you didn't see this one coming. :) As anyone interested probably noticed, I stopped playing Dragon Age this last summer. But I think I've finally decided to play Awakening (didn't buy it yet though), and got some renewed interest in this project.

Modazipin 1.0.2 has a single fix, it asks you to locate the "Dragon Age" folder if it can't be found automatically. I don't really know why that happens but this should fix it...

The file is available here:

Jhime, thank you for your community work! The only gripe I have that I now get a huge list of .dds files that happen to be in the "packages" folder (in my case, there seem to be thousands of them), and it scans for addins forever... and somewhere, in-between, are my dazips... would it be possible to prevent Modazipin from showing .dds files?

Hrm, ok, I'll think about it for a bit, perhaps they could be collected in a better way.

I'm not really that happy with the slow scanning as well, I should try to cache it better. We'll see how much I have time for before DA2.

I'd say if it just skipped the .dds files (or is there any need to display them?) it might be already faster.

You could just put them in a subfolder. Modazipin will then display that folder... At least I think so, can't really check here from work. :)

They are all in subfolders of separate mods in the "packages/core/data/override" and "packages (disabled)" folders...

(BTW, the scanning was a lot faster the second time I opened Modazipi, despite the huge number of files)

Ah, I see: my "packages (disabled)" folder, where I store... well, disabled packages, has a subfolder called "HD-textures", which contains 2,700 .dds files, which are shown in Modazipin. When I click on one dds file, Modazipin says "found in your packages folder". So, apparently, Modazipin doesn't distinguish between "packages" and "packages (disabled)". I now renamed the folder to "packages(disabled)", without the space, and Modazipin now only lists the Addins.

Well, problem solved (sort of)...

Ah, ok, think I see the problem... it most likely assumes that "HD-textures" is a module name and wants to display addins for that module. I should probably be a bit more strict about the folder structure (and ignore unknowns).

Modazipin uses packages (disabled) to store any files you uncheck in the program. I don't have any plans to change that part.

Oh, I thought I had created that folder... well, so I suppose I should rename it back to "packages (disabled)", then?
