Don't rely on Bioware. Don't expect the patch for months

I am sick and tired of all you babies hanging on to Bioware's teet, begging for the patch. They're not that reliable a company when it comes to patches. They still haven't ffixed a lot of major bugs in the 360 version that significantly jeopardized your game and possible ME3 too. So suck it up people, don't expect the patch anytime soon.

1.) If you already have a corrupted save, accept that you're SOL and either start over or go cry in a corner

2.) If you're playing the game, simply back up your save religiously, there's nothing else you can do

3.) Do Not whatever you do play the Shadow broker mission. Some went through it okay, but this is where most of the corrupted saves come from. Do you really want to risk it?

I'm sorry for the pessimistic post, but the way some of you go on is absolutely pitiful. Stop the whining, be patient, play the game and backup, or just play another game in the meantime.  Stop asking the same damn questions over and over again.

I'm playing the game and have yet to have a corrupted save. I'm posting this for the weaker posters here who sound like sheepish wimps waiting for mommy Bioware to come save the day. 90% of posts on here now repeat the same things over and over again.

"WHY HASN'T SONY OR BIOWARE DONE ANYTHING BLAH BLAH BLAH"

"COME ON BIOWARE WHERE ARE UUUUUUUUUU"

repeat x's a million. It doesn't do anything. It's a complete waste.  Suck it up and move on people.

Bioware is working on it. Patch is coming. Stop trying to put other people down because you can't handle a bit of waiting.

It's good to voice dissatisfaction with Bioware about the lack of communication. It's not good to try and bring everyone down to your level by fear mongering.

Btw I know you are trying to come of as some ultimate badass who makes everyone else look like a wimp. But your just coming of as a bit of a tool.

Can't handle a bit of waiting? Are you dense? I could wait 3 years for the patch, it hasn't affected me one bit. Way to completely miss my point. I'm directing this at all the people here who clearly can't handle waiting sherlock.

People here are being way too optimistic, and what good has that led to? Absolutely nothing but disappointment. I'm serving up a worst case scenario. If people had that mentality maybe they wouldn't be so impatient and just get the patch whenever the hell it comes.

I'm sorry you can't handle reality, I really am.

No, I'm the goddam batman.

Why is optimism a bad thing for you? Can you not just let people continue hoping that there will be a patch? (When there is going to be one as well).

No, you have to for some reason, try and get everyone to be depressing like you.

I ask you, what has living in a fantasy world where Bioware finished the patch on Friday and sent it to Sony the very same day gotten anyone? Nothing but high expectations and more and more complaining  I'm sure you guys are so happy believing all this, bahahhaha.

I'm a realist. I rather accept certain truths than be deluded by a company with a poor track record

I ask you, what has living in some depressing world where Bioware never finished the patch and never sent it to Sony gotten anyone? Nothing but low expectations and people trying to be hardcore making ridiculous threads. I'm sure you are so happy believing all of this, bahahhaha

I'm an optimist. I would rather live in a world where there is hope than one where people always think the worst.

Look at this 360 post from 5 months ago with a game breaking bug that's yet to be fixed and question what optimism gets you: http://social.biowar...index/4719271/3

That bug is also in the PS3 version of course

I'm not depressed in the slightest. I'm fully enjoying playing ME2 and backing up my game. If it gets corrupted I'll do the restore trick that's been proven to work. I don't need to rely on a company who can't fix games on a timely basis. If you people just accepted this truth, you wouldn't complain as much.  I'm trying to help you guys...

Never said you were depressed. I said you were depressing.

My main point was why bother making this thread? It serves no point other than to try and make people upset to try and fuel your 'realistic' vision.

It's a bitter pill to swallow, but maybe if you guys followed my advice, you'd be playing the game now not worrying at all about the patch, and actually enjoy it like I am.

But not enjoying it enough to stop you from going onto the forums and trying to upset people?

What does that even mean?

Are you playing the game currently Cosmon?

He means you can't be enjoying it that much if you'd rather be stuck in the forums spreading distrust and unpleasantness

Yes I am. I'm backing all my saves onto a USB. And yes, I am holding out for the patch.

I'm not however trying to shoot people down who are hoping for the patch to be released soon.

What on earth does one have to do with the other? That's one idiotic connection.  Are you logically saying I can't enjoy the game, and try to stop people from whining ad nauseum? Wow....seriously?

Anyone who speaks badly about whiners and Bioware is a troll apparently. So sad.

Truthfully, do you guys actually enjoy seeing the same complaints over and over and over again? Tell the truth? Does it help the situation at all to see people repeating themselves?

I may be a sad whiner, but at least I'm not someone who sadly whines about sad whiners, LOL!

On a serious note, I'll admit some of the complaining has gone a bit far, but if Bioware were more honest about the time it''s taking (playtesting ME2 can easily take over a month if you're being thorough), and not avoiding this forum like the plague, it'd be much less of an issue.
