I am sick and tired of all you babies hanging on to Bioware's teet, begging for the patch. They're not that reliable a company when it comes to patches. They still haven't ffixed a lot of major bugs in the 360 version that significantly jeopardized your game and possible ME3 too. So suck it up people, don't expect the patch anytime soon.

1.) If you already have a corrupted save, accept that you're SOL and either start over or go cry in a corner

2.) If you're playing the game, simply back up your save religiously, there's nothing else you can do

3.) Do Not whatever you do play the Shadow broker mission. Some went through it okay, but this is where most of the corrupted saves come from. Do you really want to risk it?

I'm sorry for the pessimistic post, but the way some of you go on is absolutely pitiful. Stop the whining, be patient, play the game and backup, or just play another game in the meantime.  Stop asking the same damn questions over and over again.

Every game has bugs whether they are serious or not. ME2 xbox 360 still has bugs?  That's pretty funny as I  just completed another run through with no issue to speak of.

You are quite clever in creating this post to attract attention only to yourself.  Just because you're experiencing something that someone else is doesn't mean anything.

Bioware is a very good company and has a very good reputation.  Bugs are bound to slip through the cracks it's a question of whether they can be fixed without breaking the game that is the problem these days.

Games are becoming more and more complex and if you cannot accept a few bugs slipping through then that's your problem.

I  hope a moderator closes this thread cause all I see here is you looking for attention.

Truthfully, do you guys actually enjoy seeing the same complaints over and over and over again?

Hint: this is the tech support forum.

People usually come around these parts when they hit a brick wall. Apparently you don't need any technical support, so the relevant question is why do you keep coming back here and hurting yourself with topics that don't concern you. Masochism? No, too much anger. Cynicism? Impossible, lacking subtlety.

Must keep searching. Come back later.

See this thread and get back to me on whether you think the 360 version has no bugs. This is a game breaking bug btw: http://social.biowar...7/index/4719271

By your logic, If I complete the game without running into issues I can say the PS3 version has no bugs. See how stupid that is?

And LOL@you for thinking I made this thread for attention. That's actually pretty sad that your brain works like that. You must be one hardcore bioware fanboy (or girl?)

Actually the first few times I came here, I did so out of concern for the corrupted save issue. At that point there was no real solution like the backup/restore one that's been confirmed. And I still visit herre to ensure there aren't any other harmful bugs that could affect my future game play. Makes sense doesn't it? Like for instance, that Shadow Broker bug, that could prevent me from finishing the game if I didn't talk about Samara w/ Liara before doing the LotSB mission. If I can learn from people's mistakes, I will.  What I don't like is the avalanche of whiners who have actually overshadowed most other threads with the same repetitive complaints.  That's doing more harm that good to this "tech support forum".

Its just best to get over the fact that there are people who will complain about BioWare working on the patch and not releasing it when they, the customer, demand it (normally expecting it in a matter of a couple days). Just let the ones who are over-optimistic disappoint themselves. If you're a true realist, you would and simply say "Hey, you demanded them to release the patch before it was finished." and leave it at that.

A troll is not a person who merely speaks ill about BioWare and people who complain. A troll is a person who makes threads and/or posts that are controversial, offensive, or insulting. Threads/Posts that are any of those have the possibility of bringing a flame-war or discontent between members of the forum. You can be defined as a troll in this case, but you aren't in the true sense of the term.

However, a realist does not try to spread discontent to those who have an optimistic view of BioWare. A pessimist or a cynic does.

Right in the teeth. Anyway, this thread no longer has a purpose other than debating about pessimistic crap vs optimism... Not gonna get you anywhere. And for the record, people have a right to write about their encountered bugs, because they bought the product and can expect-it to work accordingly.
