Seriously, that would suck so much if Ashley had to be killed off in Mass Effect 3. No matter what the reason, I didn't stay single for the entirity of Mass Effect 2 just to watch as the only person in Commander James Shepard's life who held a special place in his heart, suddenly died.

This. If my Shep have to lose his LI probably he'll become suddently the greatest son of a b**t in the galaxy, and or he'll die in the final battle, or he'll have to find someone to punch hardly in the face (TIM or turian councilor would be a good start). Besides the LI then Garrus and Mordin.

Letting you choose between you and your LI would be very cruel but very dramatically effective.
Think: if you want your LI to survive then you must choose not to romance him/her *.*

My Ash is already dead, just in name of my first romance in a videogame, but I swear she'll  be alive and well in my next playthrough, I like her a lot!!!

i understand you did what you had to do i cant ever even go to youtube and see ashley die its just not right

If Garrus dies, my Shepard will commit a suicide out of curtsey. He's been with me nearly on every mission.

I would hate to lose Liara or Tali the most - not just because they can be LI's but because both started out life in ME1 as innocents and it would be most hurtful to see either of them perish.

Both Mordin and Thane are kinda working against time as far as life-span goes and whilst I really love both characters (honestly Mordin singing Gilbert and Sullivan was the funniest part of ME2) I'd be more inclined to sacrifice them but only because they're both reaching the end of their time anyhow.

Jacob and Kaiden wouldn't bother me at all if they died, both are incredibly bland and I wouldn't miss them at all.

I love all the teammates, so it's tough picking who I'd miss the most if they were offed in ME3; but if forced to pick faves, I would despair over losing either Garrus or Thane (even if we were warned about Thane's impermanence). I pick them for every mission, that's how my Femshep likes to roll- even if it is a bit unbalanced having 3 snipers in a team.

That being said if i could choose only five to live it would have to be,



Garrus - Some one has to continue the good work of kicking the crap out of nasty people.

Tali - She is so going to be the first Quarian on the Counsil. Saying Boshett every few minutes *sigh* i can see it now.

Joker - tears me up just thinking about a goodbye if this came to pass. DO NOT WANT!

Liara - Someone needs to point garrus in the right direction. Who better then the main blue?

The last is a tossup between Legion and Wrex...sorry i tried but i cant decide...probably Legion because he feels like the underdog at the moment.



Very hard to pick because i really love all the characters and their diversity. It kind of feels like they bounce off of eachother in that respect so they wouldn't be quite the same without eachother. Or maybe im just getting soppy!

I got one squadmember killed on the suicide mission and guess who it was, Garrus. He was my favourite member by far. I even did the turian ally achivement in ME 1 (50 assigment with garrus). And it was so emotional when he said his last words: "Sorry Shepard, I won't be with you to the end. Snipe one for me will you?" =(

That would just ****** me off. Along with LI or the world type BS. Had enough of that sort of thing with dragon age for a while (I like that you couldn't have it all, I just don't realy want to repeat that in ME)

hmmm who would I feel worse about...well Mordins my fav character but I don't think I would actually feel to bad about him dying. Garrus dying would suck, I had a mini freak out on his recruitment mission witch is stupid cause I knew he would live anyway but I actually think Tali dying would make me feel the worst. She isn't my Fav character but I have this strange big sister sort of thing going on with her.

I'd be okay with anyone dying so long as their death is meaningful and have a very large impact. So I'd angry if it turns out that I can substitute any squadmate for any other squdmate. Ex. If it is written that Liara must die, then fine, but if it turns out you can choose who dies, then Hell no. The only exception is when the death is wholly preventable in game, then I don't mind having the choice of who dies.

I was planning on answering Tali, but I looked over the list of squadmates and I think I'll go with Legion. Legion's not my favorite, but of all the team members, he's the most unique and the universe would be poorer without him. Legion was built by the geth as an olive branch to humanity and he's likely the only chance of healing the rift between synthetic and organic life. He's meant to repair that divide so we can work in common cause against a common threat. I would just feel awful if all his efforts were all in vain.
