Alright so I know everyone has discussed main characters they hope to see in DA2, but I was wondering what side characters from DAO you would like to see? Or if you want to see any at all?

Personally, I really liked Lanaya the Dalish Elf Keeper and thought she had/has a lot of potential for DA2. I know she probably won't ever be a main character (as she can be killed) but I always thought she was neat and hope she'll be back in some capacity.

Anyway I wanted to know your thoughts on possible side characters for DA2

Wade and Herren, a thousand times them. Best smith and seller in the world of thedas.

Also, the dalish elf dude you could sleep with. Maaaaainly because I want the chance to freak him out something fierce.

"Couldn't believe it when the warden that saved the world had a half-elf kid, didn't even realize dwarves and elves could have kids together.

What's the matter, you look pale?"

Zevran (always), Shianni, Teagan, Gorim, Jowan (because his whininess makes me laugh)

Lanaya got mad at me first time round for trying to pick the lock of the chest - how was I to know it's the one chest you can't try to open without repurcussions? :P

City Elf dad is a very good choice. Were I just a player, i would like to see the orphan boy on the Lothering bridge, Kaitlyn and Bevan from Redcliffe, Dagna the magic-studying dwarf, and Gorim or Dwyn.

I second Dagna, Gorim, and Dwyn. Possibly all three at once.

Yes!  Wade should be in all Dragon Age games!

I wouldn't mind seeing an adventuring Shianni, hardened by the war (just replayed the city elf origin last night).

I want to see Bella the barmaid in Redcliffe. Oh and the elven maid in the castle in Denerim. I also liked the head of the legion of the dead in the deep roads.

yes, a combat-ready Shianni would also be a good one.

Sergeant Kylon. There was a smart lad.

Connor/Rowan would be interesting as well.

Gorim?  Really?

He annoyed me.

And confused me.

Thank you.

I actually have a whole theory devoted for him to comeback (A little less worse for wear of course) Where he tries to make it home.

Of course, City elder coming back is a Longer shot as well,

I'd love to see Dagna return (what a sweetheart she is). Kaitlyn as well (since she is a teen in DAO it would be nice seeing her grown up in the later years of DA2, along with Bevin).

Can a dev confirm if it is just major characters returning from DAO as NPC's? Or will there be some minor ones as well?

I'd like to see The Messenger from Awakening.

Something about a good-intentioned Darkspawn that unknowingly spreads the taint wherever he goes is just... awesome.
