First off, love the game, its great.....when it works.

I'm on my 2nd playthrough currently and i'm doing the Tali rescue mission.  The game keeps freezing at the part with the flying mechs and the 2 big mechs.  I cannot get past this point of the game.  It freezes sometimes while I'm fighting them, it freezes once i've killed them all and I'm going to the next location....its freezed after I beat them all and tried to create a new save so I dont have to go through all that **** again.


WTF is going on??  I paid $70 for this game and its basically broken now.  My first playthrough I only experienced minor bugs (during Krogan loyalty mission the Thresher Maw wouldn't show up but my teamates kept shooting at the sky)  so I skipped the loyalty mission and just had Grunt die during the final mission.

My PS3 has locked up 6 times at this part of the game now, I need an explanation. 

Seriously disatisfied customer right now.  What do I need to do to fix this?

I hit that same bug during the Krogan loyalty mission. Garuss and Grunt shooting at the sky. I restarted the mission and it was fine. You've run into a lot more bugs than I have though. Sorry to hear it.

How long had you been playing before your problems started? I find that if I play for more than an hour the game gets pissy.

oh no.
well i have it on xbox so i can't really help much, but my friend has it for ps3 and he said try maybe to go to tech support at ea.

Be fortunate you got through at least one playthrough. Many here aren't as lucky.

I'm having the exact same problem during my insanity run and I've been checking here daily for news on a patch but nothing yet, we have to patient. It's a pain no doubt, someone told me to play that part of the game offline, not connected to the internet at all, it didn't work for me but it may help you, it's worth a shot atleast.
