Biotics/ TK powers? No. Not the way they're presented in Dead Space. IF you're playing as a biotic, you should be able to do biotic things in cutscenes like throw tables at people. During regular gameplay? Eh. No thanks.
I'll never understand the logic of people that like cool things to happen in cutscenes, rather than in actual gameplay. I don't want to sit there and watch something cool happen. I want to make something cool happen.

For the record, I would like to do cool things, but I always play an Engi, and I'd be envious if biotics could just pick things up and throw them or whatever, when I'm limited to my omnitool. Now, if they gave each class some really kick-ass abilities to help me get over my engi envy, then you guys could biotically throw anything and everything.Janan Pacha wrote...

Dead Space 2 is a completely different game, I don't want to ever see an ME game that is takes points from a completely different game. All 3 points the OP mentions are really just minor items that dont take away from the game and I would bet that the mostly silent fans could care less about point 2. Make a choice, wear a helm or don't, its really simple.
But the problem is if you wear the DLC armor you don't have a choice. So it's only if you wear the N7 armor you can not wear a helm which makes the DLC armor pointless if your choice is you'd rather see Shep's expression while speaking. If the DLC armor gave the option to go no helm then I bet no one would complain.

Dead Space 2 had more loot and customization options than ME2. Come on Bioware, stop streamlining. Start improving.

Agree with this point. I never use any armor where in a cut-scene I keep my helmet on. Seems so rude.

Hahaha, that right there is Crom and he was an evil bastard.
I always feel like a jerk if I have a complaint and post it on the Internet. I loved ME2 but I missed my dear inventory.

I think Bioware should look at a lot of 3rd person shooters (not just dead space) in order to improve their combat. I'm not saying its bad but its substandard compared to some of the best games in the industry, and Mass Effect 3 needs to be the best game ever!
Still, ME2 combat is quite well implemented. You realize about that when learning different attack combinations.
For example, i find ME2 combat more fun than Gears of War one.
It needs a bit more of polish though, but currently it works fine.

Anti-Gravity and Telekinesis are mainly used in Deadspace as puzzle creation tools. And having puzzles that are not "Towers of Hanoi" is pretty cool.
ME3 could use a little bit more in the puzzle department to break up the action a little.
The puzzles on the "dead" space station as part of the corrupted mech quest wasn't "puzzly" (repositioning mirrors to manipulate the laser, etc.) enough for you?

Dead Space 2 has no loading screens except when you load your save or die. Plus it has elevators that are fun. Bioware should really look at Dead Space 2, and not just it's mechanics, it was a proper continuation of the first game while also being fun for newcomers, something ME2 failed.
Dead Space 2 is also a much shorter, linear game than either Mass Effect game with much less voicework. The gameplay and atmosphere make Dead Space 2 great, the writing and characters don't. Those two things took a huge step back from the first game and were truly awful.

Well its obvious that its shorter lol. Should be a given.......I thought the writing and characters were alot better. First game was great but you just went to different places being told what to fix. There were only like 4 people in that game. Mass effect should have collapsiblle helmets.

lolwut, DS2 is better writen then DS and ME2. The only good thing about ME2 is it's gameplay, the writing is horrible.Inarborat wrote...

A very good thing in DS2 that could/should be adapted into ME was the zero-G action and navigation. Very cool and very well done. Would be a cool addition to ME.

how about this? In the military (for the most part) when you are indoors, OFF GOES THE HEAD COVER! It should be automatic that when you are in a non-combat situation or a situation that doesn't give any appearance of being a combat situation, no helmet. It is frickin' rude in any case to be traipsing about the Citadel or some other planet with your head/face covered all the time in a helmet. It should default to off and simply have a toggle to put it on when necessary. A talking helmet may as well be a talking Old Navy manikin.

i dont mean an actual gun, i mean a game mechanic where you can move objects freely like in dead space and half-life 2. such a mechanic is often called a "physics gun".
You could actually do that to a limited extent in ME1 with crates and such using biotic powers. It was fairly clumsy though. Still, there were many occasions where crap had gotten in my way after a fight and I used biotics to get rid of the obstacles.

1. Look at how Dead Space 2 is actually a sequel to Dead Space 1 with a lot of improvements. Meanwhile ME1 is similiar to ME2 like Halo is similiar to COD
