For the record, steam isn't really that intrusive of a drm. It keeps tracks of every game you have ever bought, you will never need a cd or a cd key after the first time. I've personally lent my steam account out at different times to all my friends and my steam account has probably been installed onto 5+ computers. I couldn't even tell you where my physical copies of my half-life 2 games are (lost em when I was moving) yet I still lend it out all the time.
