I just spoke with an EA rep and I the release date from their store is November 3rd. I was told we will not have it on release date that it will ship November 3rd. I also asked them to lookup the sku on nedaroth's post and have been told it's bogus. The release date for that sku is November 3rd. Make of that what you will.

Why would they say that?


Keep in mind when i called to  cancel my PS3 CE  for the PC version, the rep told me there was no PS3 version

Once again, I really hope I'm wrong and what the rep told me was incorrect but I also just ordered my copy yesterday and I've got it for November 3rd.

Well this is what they sent me in my email, also on Gamestop they show PS3 version as the 28th , unless they changed that.

Nedaroth, I would really, really, really suggest you delete a lot of that info that you have up there if it's real. Online forums are searched by google and other engines and there's a good chance that stuff could be picked up by people you don't want to know where you live, or know your email address.

We should find out this week if that is the case. If you paid for regular shipping they should ship it Thursday or Friday. Overnight they'll ship it Monday. I was told this will not be the case.



I should also point out to everyone that when you talk to one of EA's agents on the web you're speaking to someone in India. Their English isn't great and they usually misunderstand what we're talking about. (i.e. ship date, release date, etc.)

I had the same problem with my order not showing up in the order history on the EAstore site. I emailed EA support and they told me not to worry, and that I will be able to download the game on time. Of course, i ordered the BOXED Collector's Edition and paid for 1 day shipping so i actually wonder if they actually checked on my order or just gave me a canned response.

so if this is true, and they wont ship the game until the 3rd...then why in the HELL would i want to preorder? maybe i am missing something but wont the local retailers have it on their shelves on the release date (or the day after at the worst)? so since i pre-ordered DA:O CE from EA Store with "standard shipping", am i potentially getting the game AFTER i could have just drive down to Best Buy and bought it off their shelves??

You could go buy it at Best Buy on release. But I don't think any in store retailers are going to have the CE, if you want that at this point you have to order it off the EA Store.

The CEs aren't available anywhere that I know of. If you want the original version you can get it locally from a brick and mortar store or get it from Amazon with release date delivery.If you want the CE... your only bet is EA right now or possibly GoGamer.

I hate having to wait the extra few days but that's the sacrifice for the CE.

I really regret choosing free shipping from my Amazon CE order now, since I most likely wont get it until a week after it releases :[

Looking at newegg the free shipping is UPS 3 day.

Yeah I contacted them about that because my credit card hasn't been charged for the pre-order and I couldn't view my order history at all. The rep told me to contact my bank (no problem on their end) and I will be able to download it at release, even though I ordered the CE and you can't download that.

I just hope everything goes through fine on the 3rd, order history should still show up even though its not processed until then. But regardless I have my proof of purchase so in the end it should all work out. And if you want it on 3rd you don't order a physical copy online that requires shipping. Very few times will they pre-ship. I mean you could potentially play before the 3rd in that case.

Though I suppose depending where they ship from, and how far it goes you could still get it on the 3rd. Heh.

I pre-ordered my CE 360 at Best Buy like 3 days or so I think.

Yeah the CE may be a bit hard to come by at this point all I can say then is bite the bullet and go with EA wouldnt recommend as they were whom I cancelled my pre-order with and changed to Best Buy, and just accept you may not get it on the 4th. It releases 3rd I know, but unless you're downloading it you're not getting it from them on the street date.
