Actually no. I want to see what the 'naked' game looks like before I install dlcs.

That's the point I'm trying to make. I'm not saying to never touch the DLC.

Just a though for thoes of you who have collected alot of the promotional DLC from various sources over the past few months as well as the pre-order/signature stuff. Will any of you play the game with out it installed in your first play through. Then install it for your second playthrough? I myself and pondering whether to do so,  just so I can see the difference the game would be when not using all the bonus content.

Nah.  Combat isn't so important to me that it'll ruin the game if I use the DLC.

I likely will - depending on how powerful the items are. If they're obscene, I'll probably pass. But it will also be a matter of appearance too. I'm somewhat particular. I could never use Blightblood in Origins because it was just an ugly item.

Of course. I'll use all DLC available to me.

And Ser Isaak's armor will be given to the most stupid and unwelcome party member who will be dismembered later on.

I will buy all DLC available that interests me. So far the exiled prince looks interesting as I like more character to choose from (I hope they add even more soon! Loved Shale from DA:O).

If they add DLCs before I finish the game (and for me it will take weeks as I don't have time to play often) I will add-on as I go. Otherwise later DLC would have to be additions for after the game is finihed as I don't really plan on replaying the game (due to witcher 2 and human revolution)

I don't quite get this. What the naked game looks like? It'll "look" the same. There's no change for textures or change to your character. If you don't want to use an item, don't use it (or destroy it, or sell it, or whatever). If you don't want Sebastian tagging along, I'm sure he'll be like Shale -- don't pick him up. I'm really not knocking you here, not my intent anyway, but if you plan to use it at some point, why not allow yourself the option of using it at the beginning?

As for myself, obviously, yes, I'm installing all of it right off the bat. I also doubt I'll use all of it.
