Heh, so your friends are feeding on the stereotype. Go right ahead. It is true, however, that not all women who look like Jack are bisexual/gay.
How does it make more sense for Jack to be gay? The only evidence we have of her having an emotional connection, is between her and Murtock, a guy.
In my game play it would make more sense ... Your Jack may be different and therefore it would not make sense in your game play.
As to Murtock, Yes, that is the route that BW took so that is how I had to re-adjust for the character.
Back to topic - no, I do not find Jack attractive.

So you're rewriting characters, to fit your preferences? Okay, but don't expect anyone but yourself to accept it as canon.
I think that you are now cherry-picking what you read in my responses. I said I had to "re-adjust for the character" based on what BW sets as the "truth". I only stated that I had wished that they had went a different route with it.
The 1st time I played the game the story felt as if it was going in a different direction with her. That is one of the things that I do like about the game. Just when you think that you know where it is going ... bam! Sometimes it takes you to a better place and sometimes the place seems untrue. But that pretty much happens in real life, so you re-adjust your thinking and move forward.
Back to topic: nope, still don't think she is attractive.

Don't find Jack at all attractive. Not her looks(tattoos, shaved head and overalls) or her personality. Haven't romanced her, won't romance her.
I admit that all the "crazy tattoed b***h" thing is not something that can match to everyone's tastes. Me neither I was particularry interested in her as a romance, and I've never was, but she IS pretty under all those tattoes imoh, and I'm also curious to see how she'll evolve in ME3, after the latest news.

I never for a moment thought Jack was bi - I don't think it's a given that if a character chooses to dress in an unfeminine manner, it makes her gay?- but if she was, rarrw!

Fox: And is it true that your game features scenes of inappropriate homosexual relationships?
Me: Yup. I don't shy away from the reality of the world.
Fox: But this is a game, not the real world.
Me: But it tackles issues that people in the real world face.
Fox: And do you think its right for a game for children should be displaying homosexuality in such a light? Do you think that is appropriate?
Me: Two things: Mass Effect is rated M for Mature. The equivalent of a R rated film. But its not given that rating for its acceptance of multi sexualities, its given that rating because its violent and has excessive swearing. No kid should play it, at least without parental permission. The second thing is that talking about homosexuality is always appropriate, especially for teens today! We stamp kids to get into night clubs every friday, filter them from bars, and stop them from doing "adult" things. But the next day, we send them off to high school, where they are exposed to as much sex, violence, drug abuse, swearing, and social pressure that we as adults are. Hell, probably more, because they are confined in a relatively enclosed space with all of that pressure physically close to them, for seven hours a day.
Fox: But surely this is something that kids shouldn't be exposed to--
Me: The homosexuality in my games is an option, geared mainly towards every man, woman, or even child that has struggled with their sexuality at some point, even making sacrifices that they shouldn't have to make because its out of the "social norm". They deserve better than that. They deserve better than you. Or are you claiming that sexuality is something that teens don't wrestle with every day?
Fox: I...I certainly didn't mean to imply--
Me: I've had enough of your derogatory inflictions.

She was bi.
-omitted irrelevant nonsense-
FemShep has recorded dialogue for her romance, but so do many other LIs. Jack's dialogue for the romance, however, makes no mention of Shepard's sex. If the "girls club" comment was recorded concurrently with her romance dialogue, it's possible that Bioware didn't intend for her to be bisexual.

Jack was thoroughly unlikeable. I found her attitude, even after becomming loyal totally repellent. In fact, on one of my play throughs I purposefully killed her off in the suicide mission just so I could not see her pop up in ME 3.

Does that Shepard have a menacing chuckle, shifty eyes, a black tophat, and a handlebar mustache he tweaks evilly?

Hehe, Nah. I just found Jack so over the top EMO for me that I was glad to see her sorry butt out of my engineering bay. Bioware needed to give me a **Slap Jack Silly** option during certain dialog chains.
Jack for me goes down as the least likable/interesting character in ME canon....worse than Super BlandMan Jacob, so thats saying something

I don't think Jack is attractive, I don't mind the tattoo's really it the shaved head and personality/criminal behavior that makes her unattractive to me. If I met a real person who is as messed up as Jack is mentally I sure wouldn't date them. I might try to help them or try finding them help, but I surely wouldn't even think about getting in a relationship with them. I've done a bunch of play through's of ME 2 and not once have I gotten involved with Jack.
This.
The tats I can deal with. I don't like the shaved head, really detracts from her looks. But it's her personality that just kills it for me. She's crazier than all fiery hell. Dating her would not even be on my radar.
