I've got to agree with this thread title,
I am so thankful that BioWare and EA have brought this Fantastic game to PS3. I think im just over halfway through my first playthrough and i can honestly say that this is my favorite game this Gen. BioWare have really created a complete masterpeice, the stories, the great beleivable characters, the characters backgrounds, the great environments, the normandy SR2, everything is just amazing in the game. Ok it has its bugs here and there but that hasnt stop me from playing and playing this game, i just back up my saves.

I've already made my mind up that with this game, Dragon Age 2 and then Mass Effect 3 coming out this year that BioWare are going to get my vote for Developer of 2011.

BioWare you get my thanks and praise for creating such a masterpeice, it's games like this that deserve the type of sales that poorly lazy shallow developed games like Call Of Duty get.

I do agree that Mass Effect is much better than Call of Duty any day, but I will be saving my thanks until after the patch is released and the save bug is dealt with.

I am playing the game after a corrupted save at about 21 hours... and so far no corrupted save splats on this playthrough. I backup after every mission or two, 36 saves for 25 hours of gameplay. This time around though, I've encountered a new glitch, a black screen loading up, three times. Once on the Normandy, once on Talia's loyalty mission, and once on Horizon.

I'm backing up to an SD card, so that if everything does crash, I won't lose the gameplay put in... but because of my previous encounter with the corrupted save, and seeing the black screens now, the immersion into the game world is a bit damaged when in the back of my head I'm constantly worrying it may crash.

And the game world is wonderful, the writing is amazing... the techinical glitches though are the equivalent of a graffiti tagger being let lose in the Sistine Chapel.
