Actually, I agree, Ulz. Especially since Jack is very much a huge Riddick reference with the super-criminal, bald head and 'girl with a boy's name' thing. Put some Riddick-styled goggles on her.

Just make 'em a bit more Steampunk.

EDIT: Oh, and..

I use the phrase "codex zealot" to
describe those of you that adhere to the codex entries with an undue
and excessive zeal. It's not so much an insult as an accurate
description of anyone that would sacrifice gameplay or aesthetics for
the sake of appeasing a codex entry.

I use the phrase "body
armour fundamentalist" to describe those of you that want to revert to
the basic armour principles of Mass Effect 1.

This brings us back to words having specific meanings.

I like how you left out an explanation for calling two seperate individuals simple-minded and a pervert in the course of this thread alone.

Is it really that horrible to want to think of Miranda's safety? Running in those heels has to be murder on her feet.

Oh, and bullets. Bullets hurt.

Calling everyone zealots, fundamentalists, simple-minded and so forth is insulting them, genius. *Facepalm*

Incorrect.

I'm sorry, but how does that make it less insulting?

I consider myself to be better than most people, that's true. But that opinion is formed based on the actions of said other people, not their ethnicity or country of birth.

For example, several of you have taken to flat out insulting me. I wont reply in kind because i'm better than that.

And yet you have... how interesting. [/Sarcasm]

My interpretation is that you consider yourself to be better because you're arrogant, condensending, and woefully closed-minded.

Much of replies were in response to your opinions. Instead of acknowledging valid points and replying with rational counterarguments, you create more opinions designed to continue your habitual put-downs.

Just pointing that out.

Look up the words "zealot" and "fundamentalist" in a dictionary. I believe i am using them both correctly.

Thinking people should wear armor in heavy combat makes me a religious whackjob?

Zealot means fanatical, warlike and prone to violence.

Yeah, not an insult at all to call someone that. Not to mention it's synonymous with calling someone a bigot, so it's funny how you were calling us all racists before anyone even MADE a racist remark.

I know what the words mean but you are still using them in an insulting way. Just because we disagree with you, you call us codex zealots and body armour fundamentalists, yet you complain when we call you a troll.
You called Ieldra a pervert. You look down on us, when honestly, there is nothing about you that gives you the right to do that. Why don't you step down from that incredibly high horse you've put yourself on and re-read every post you've written in this thread? Don't even try to deny that you've insulted anyone here.

Zealot: A fervent proponent of something.

Fundamentalist: A usually religious movement or point of view characterised by a return to fundamental principles.

I purposely chose both words for their religious connotations, but i'm using both correctly.

I know its kinda offtopic and we're discussing weather and alien puke amidst a war trench... but hey do you wanna know what would be so ****ing cool? Some character with steampunk-based pilot goggles. I'm telling you that because it would fit nicely on that Jack picture.

Thanks.  And yeah, goggles > hater shades.

TAKE NOTE, BW.

@jeweledleah: Thanks!

Something like those:

Damn... now I want to see artwork of all the Mass Effect characters in Steampunk mode. I know I saw a drawning of a Steampunk Tali other day on some part of the forums.

is this discussion about Val, and his problems, or about armor and helmets? So maybe we should back to the point?

back to Topic - Cheez, I'd love to see what you can do with Samara's armor. oh and helmet for Jack :)

P.S. Tali and Thane should get together and discus environmental suit possibilities to ease his condition.

But I haven't read anything in the Codex about armor. And I want Miranda to have it.

I don't particularly want to return to the armor styles of ME1. And yet I don't want Miranda's ass crack wedgie in my face during combat.

I, Nightwriter, do hereby decree that no squadmate of mine shall have to perform combatively whilst suffering a wedgie! Wedgies are the Reapers' worst weapons against us! Bring me you poor, your tired, your wedgied, your catsuited, your high-heel bunioned masses!
