What do you mean "access the other parts"?
After completing any Origin, you should get the World Map (actually just Ferelden and its immediate environs) and Ostagar should be lit-up as your destination. There in Ostagar you learn about "The Joining"... and the adventure continues!

so how does it work with the digital steam version? can't access the awakenings option and it seems as though it ought to be in new game options. instead it automatically tries to re-start the Origins Campaign. Already re-installed the game and can't figure out what is missing. anyone? anyone? Bueller?

fff, I feel your pain. :/ I bought the game not long ago for my PC because it was the cheapest means of getting the DLC, binged through Origins, and Awakening... Just 'aint workin' for me. I mean, I have everything else, but it's just Awakening that isn't working. :/ I tried inserting the second disc for it, tried starting a new game.... and, nothing. I am disappoint.

If I didn't know I'd say you installed over an old Origins installation (without uninstalling it), which is known to cause trouble if you just install the Ultimate Edition over it.

Slightly off topic but I just managed to buy the Ulitimate Edition on the 360 (I have the Collector's Edition on the PS3 but have been putting off getting the expansions due to the cost and the fact I don't play on the PS3 that much) brand new for £18! It would cost me more than that just to get the downloads. Needless to say I'm extremely happy and hopefully others might be able to get such a great bargain.

Bump?
Has anyone found a solution for not being able to access Awakening? I recently bought my own Ultimate Edition on Steam as well and I'm running into the same problem it seems. Hopefully there's a solution out there... I'm trying to get through everything before Dragon Age II comes out and time is running out!!
