Will we be able to change companions' clothing like in DAO?

I can only hope the personal armour variants for Hawke look as cool and badass as his base starting armour that we've seen in the fighting video demos.

Can't wait for the day the Bioware auto level ups companions, and doesn't allow us to switch to them because they are their own people. Like this travesty, it'll probably be met with thunderous applause.
Oh, wait, they kinda did. It's called Mass Effect 2.

You do realise that DAO actually had auto-levelling whereas ME2 had it as an option you can turn off?

I think he was refering to the fact you can't assume direct control of your party members in both mass effect games, not the auto leveling

Though the usual fare will be pointless, in Isabela's case.

Given that each companion now has a unique model, it might also make clothing mods vastly more difficult to create.KawaiiKatie wrote...
This will just make clothing mods all the more fun...

aside for a solely aestetic point of view the lack of customizable clothing changes nothing and one of the most acclaimed RPGs out there handled it exactly the same way

Bioware should not be encouraged or applauded to make their games reskinned versions of Mass Effect, and I won't do it, nor can I get how anyone could.
A lot of people don't even quantify Mass Effect 2 as a RPG in the first place, but that's a discussion you can take to PM with me.

It just won't be like in DA:O where you could make everyone wear whatever you want.

Actually the way that you wrote it implied that ME2 didn't let you assume direct control and autoleveled up companions. IHarid wrote...
