I just finished my first run of the game with the human noble and sacrifice myself at the final battle and i want to know if i can play with the same character in awakening and leliana song/witch hunting dlc's regardless my character is dead
Start awakening with my "dead" character from origins, is that possible?

Yes, you can import a "dead" character into Awakening.

Heh, I just did the same thing myself. Kind of interesting meeting the old companions (in front of whose eyes you died) and them going "Hello, Warden-Commander".
Oh well.

importing a sacrificed warden retcons your original decision to dark ritual. you're basically telling the game "hey I changed my mind, let's just say I did the Dark Ritual instead"

A shame you can´t do it the other way around. I wish I could import my dead character's decisions and star a new guy anyway.

PSpspsps! What? That's doesn't work? Huh... That takes the fun out of continuing the story through as many characters as possible.

it was disappointing that starting an Orlesian Warden in Awakening meant having to use the 'default' rather than being able to import the decisions from a sacrifice but I get the impression it was their original plan (based on some of the early BioWare comments about the then forthcoming expansion) but they were too limited either in time or by the engine
