This has been up in the air for a long time, all the stuff how the paragons are treated preferentially. Personally, I was quite content with the fact that due to my decisions in ME1, in ME2 I missed out a few pointless cameos and a dozen of stupid thank you e-mails. For me, ME2 was bad enough without the feeling that the Galaxy is a village of 200 residents (as opposed to the current feeling that it's a town of 5000).

And I'm quite sure that even if the Pure Renegade will miss some allies in ME3, the Pure Paragon will be bitten in the arse by at least one of the "expected allies"...

So in this thread, fellow renegade players, let's concentrate on those little things that we would like to pleasantly surprize us in ME3, and make the blue ones turn green of envy!

So here's my idea to start:

If you have Conrad Verner killed in ME1 or 2, in 3 you can make out with his hawt wife!

Also human only or human lead! This needs to be clarified so I can decide how pissed I am at the alliance!

What about this: exclusive renegade interrupts to those with a high enough renegade score. There would be the usual renegade interrupts any player could make, but for those with a high enough percentage could take additional actions that eventually end a confrontation to the equivalent of a Cain blast. Less fuss talking.

I was thinking someone will shoot renegade shep. No joke. I dont know why people think renegade will get anything really... Being a ass to everyone never gets you anywhere in life. Although if the base doesnt turn on him or her, thats a bloody good point of being a renegade.. so hope for new tech from the base

*note: i like playing renegade though i dont think there will be much going for him/her in me3 besides the base and a very few other things

Keeping the base will NOT blow up in your face.

Meet the new council.

There are more that I can think of, but these two are the most important.

I would like that Krogan you lied to by buying a fish from the store and telling him you caught it from the lake in the Predsidium to try to bother Shepard in some way (trying to kill Shepard, to fist-fight Shepard, or accost Shepard in an angry way etc...).

How about I.P.P.P. Shepard getting shot by Balak, Vido, Elnora and Cpl. Toombs? Before getting eaten by the Rachni queen?

This ain't about you guys, move along!

Be smacked by a Hanar for the "Its a big stupid jelly fish" comment.

Conrad Verners wife thanks you for shooting her husband but asks next time to aim for the head.

TIM invites Shepard over for drinks.

Aria invites Shepard over for drinks.

I play 50/50 so im not a paragon as such. I hope renegade gets something, but ive killed everything lol. I want tech from the base especially if its renegade exclusive tech, but i get the odd feeling the base is going to turn on me. We'll live and see

Ha! That's nice. Only I'd wish it done it in some non-fight way. Something like if you lied to him, there is a special quest, with the Turian groundskeeper, who is beseiged by the futurist Vegans or something, demanding to free the fish from the ponds of Presidium, and thinking that Krogan was jsut the first of them. Something really stupid crazy, especially when the Earth is already in the Reaper claws.

It's 5:30AM so I can't think straight or the many Renegade choices but... here's two.

Since it's implied that Shiala will show up again, have Lizbeth show up if you killed her instead of some random colonist that you never met.

If you kept the Cerberus data, you can use it to blackmail Cerberus (or the Alliance if the data is Alliance + Cerberus connection).

All right then, but as you see, there are ways to have certain little stuff unlocked only if you've killed the NPCs, that were blocking access to it.

Okay.

It's a bit too late for it, but I would love if killing Fist would result in a news report about crime being reduced in the wards. Simply because renegade Shepard's brutal methods of removing him has made other criminals more scared to operate, and made it easier for C-sec to root out corrupt elements within their own ranks.

I can't remember if there's any choice like that in ME2, because then reduced crime could be the reward for killing some criminal lord.

I know you'd prefer to have smaller things, but the evil child in me would love it if Overlord counted for something in Mass Effect 3 and going with the Renegade outcome means that we get to control a formidable army of Geth.

Problem with allot of the renegade choices is that many are based on removing threats completely (or just being an ass) where as paragons take gambles with trust. It’s kind of hard to have an actually reward for someone for nipping a possible threat in the bud early with added content because it usually involves destroying something specifically so you won’t have to deal with it again and since it’s on a ‘possible’ future ramifications their isn’t anyone who was directly saved by it to thank you. I suppose your reward is that you’re secure in the knowledge that the rachni won’t be a problem, you got rid of any potential sleeper agents from Sarens lab, the heretic geth will not be able to cause any serious threat for a long time and whatever data was in Kasumi’s partners grey box won’t ever fall into the wrong hands.

Still hmmm maybe new tech from the collector base or gifts from TIM. Honestly i'd be only mildly annoyed with indoctrination screwing over the collector base but if Cerberus gets thrown an idiot ball and tries to take over with the reapers coming I might just take up that anthraxes in the vents idea*. We definitely need to meet the new council. Also human only or human lead! This needs to be clarified so I can decide how pissed I am at the alliance! Meeting fish obsessed Krogan again could be awsome and perhaps if you killed Vido the blue suns could be more interested working with you or infighting over leadership could leave them crippled. You could get a message from the guy from BDtS or perhaps get info and a short quest on the terrorist group if you sent Balak off to be imprisoned and interrogated by the alliance (not likely since it was a dlc, ah well) Actually get to find out what the data from that side quest was if you kept it rather than sending it off to Cerberus or the Alliance,

*figured since tone doesn’t come across in text and I’ve had people throw fits at me before because of stuff like this that I should mention that was by no means a serious comment. Tho they may break my heart on occasion I love the bioware writers.

Renegades have Geth army if you let Cerberus keep David Archer, without any diplomacy.

Quarians get their homeworld also and didn't do anything and they will be forever in debt to Cerberus and humanity.

Technological dominance over the rest of the galaxy for centuries or millenia, as a byproduct of reverse-engineering the Collector base and Reaper scrap left behind on Earth.

It's hard for me to discuss Fist, because for some reason of my Shepard's twisted morals (Human supremacism, most probably) he let Fist live.

There is another instance where you can side with a criminal, which is a clear renegade option: on Samara's recruitment mission you can give to Pitne For the evidence of his illegal dealings with the Eclipse. So how about he shows some additional appreciation of it in ME3? And I don't mean a "thank you" e-mail. I mean a VOLUS ARMY!!!

Meh. You said you don't want ME to feel like a village of 500 people, wouldn't run into that specific Volus smuggler be slightly like that?
Also he gave you credits, so what else can he do for you? Give you free pass through spaceport security?

As for the Volus army. If you noticed in the renegade conclusion to Mordin's loyalty mission, TIM says (in the report) that the Krogan won't be able to be cured and they will have to look for shock troopers against the Reapers elsewhere. In which he ponders over the possibilty of using Vorcha.

So I guess this means..... VORCHA ARMY IN MASS EFFECT3!! :o

He can become a very powerful Volus. Like, you know, bribe all the way up to the position of the Volus Ambassador to the Citadel... Or the Chairman Chairvolus of the V.I.P.!!!

Odd. My Shepard is mostly paragon, yet put a bullet in Fist's brain, out of guilt of her own criminal past.

I agree renegades should have some reward, but I don't see it as that big a deal. Paragon's get people alive, renegade's get awesome cutscenes of killing people. That's why paragade/renegon is best - a happy medium!

This would be biggest reward for a renegade!

Still, it ain't going to happen... BW loves and cares about all those people whining when goody-good-paragon doesn't win it all.
