By giving the first set of cerebus date to the SB and then keeping the next set, none of it ever comes to light so cerebus evil reputation fades away.
Net result increased cerebus army (easier for them to recruit when there not viewed as terrorists) or better equipment (able to buy/research stuff easier since there not viewed as terrorists) for cerebus army or both.
slightly OT but i don't get how keeping the base is gonna be a reward, its based off collector/reaper tech so they know where the off switch/auto destruct switch is. One of the opening scenes is prolly panning through where the collector base use to be because you destroyed it or watching it go bang since it auto destructs.
Cerebus takes a huge hit in the last mass effect novel after me2 that affects its recruiting. but maybe novels dont count
Yeah thanks to Anderson! I'm going to kill that traitorous mo fo!

Now that would be an epic reward for Renegades! The ability to have an epic battle with Anderson, that will of course end in his death!
It would be even greater if he was the last man defending the Council and after your finished with him you kill the Council!

I think Bioware should give a Kai Leng or Anderson option to recruit on your team similar to Samara vs. Morinth.
Kai Leng for Renegades
Anderson for Paragons

Well past his prime anyway. Definately not squad mate material.

I say more old fogies in the ME series!
On topic, I foresee a Renegade path for ME3 that results in a better outcome for Earth and its denizens, since if you've followed the Paragon path you have a weaker Cerberus, and a council that probably couldn't care less about what happens to Earth (except for Anderson/Udina, of course).

Okay Mr. Pompous why don't you share your reasoning rather than give a one liner, that makes no sense. Oh thats right because your just a 4 year old trying to start a flame war on a perfectly good thread. You don't like renegades GTHO!

You know you can be reported for that, right?
Renegades are under the impression that just because they think "realisticly" their decisions won't turn out as bad. Paragons know the risk of their decisions (at least I do). Renegades believe their is no risk, because the problem was "solved" right then and there. That's naive.

I didn't call everybody on this thread naive. I called renegadeShep naive.

Anyways I just hope there is a chance for Renegades to overthrow the Council or even disband it. This would provide for a more chaotic situation for Mass Effect 4 or whatever they want to call the new Mass Effect franchise surely to come. If your Paragon the Reapers kill the Council if your Renegade you kill the Council!

This forum has so gone downhill it used to be a place where you could discuss a topic without trolls consistently trying to sabotage a conversation.
And then Zulu showed up.
But I digress. I really don't care how Renegades are rewarded as long as Paragons aren't shafted.

On topic, a reward that i would love for my renegade shepard is the chance to either start my own secret organization or become the new illusive man, and boy would i make new changes, such as casual fridays, a stripper pole for kelly, etc

This.
I will have Morinth perform "subtle" assasinations against my enemies.
Don't forget you get the bonus of TIM's black book
