I'm more interested in how  they changed rouges and mages. I mean as far as traditional goes, you can't deviat far from how a tank must play.

@RiskyRannis

Who says the warrior must be a tank? The warrior might just be a highly versatile and effective killing-machine. Afterall, warriors are called WARRIORS, not shieldwalls.

Wake me up when it's Mage Week. :P I just can't rack up much enthusiasm for Sword and Bored.

Aren't warriors just decoys anyway? As in they draw enemy attention, so the rogue has an opportunity to tak out the top dog.

They are if you use them as a tank.  I don't use tanks.  My DW warrior was a beast, more so than my backstabbing rogue.

Of course, there's no DW for warriors in DA2.  I have a feeling they'll be less fun in this game.  Which I think is crap.

Pfh! Warrior's the real deal! There's nothing that will scare an archdemon more than the thought of being cut in two by a gigantic sword! No silly spell could do that! *nods*

Truth be told my favourite playthrough was a DW warrior. But since there aren't any in DA2 I just hope the 2H animations look better now. :?

Of course warriors are boring if you just think of them as meat shields.

Ugh, so much mockery in there for that man who dressed up as a warrior.

In DAO I had Alistair be my sword and shield tank and second specialty was Champion so he also provided party buffs. Combined with Leliana's songs that would make for a pretty buffed up party.

You know what'd be nice? If the class weeks (I'm assuming they're going to do one for rogues and mages too?) included some more information about the companions of that class. Or even if the companions were used to demonstrate tactics.

... Grasping at straws, perhaps, but the straws make me happy. :blush:

I hope they reveal the warrior specializations. My money's on Templar, Berserker, and a new one that's sort of a combination between Champion and Defender.

S&B warrior ftw.

It takes balls to endure such punishment for the party.

Tell that to Aveline. I'm sure she would take that real well. :P
