You know what'd be nice? If the class weeks (I'm assuming they're going to do one for rogues and mages too?) included some more information about the companions of that class. Or even if the companions were used to demonstrate tactics.
... Grasping at straws, perhaps, but the straws make me happy.
This is my hope too!
And for a load others should imagine

Neither of which are in DA2 intact. Arcane Warrior has been dropped as a specialization, and Cunning influences dodge chance now, I believe.
A lot of players play Warriors like...well, white mages in Final Fantasy (same goes for healer mages). Absolutely boring to play, doesn't really contribute much in terms of damage, but vital to the success of the party.
Controlling the Warrior yourself and actively using talents, or just switching to 2-handed weapons is a very different play experience, however. They can be just as fun to play as a rogue or mage. Or more. And this coming from a mage fanatic.
I'm excited for Warrior Week!

My Origins Warrior was a berserking archer City Elf Bride which was just a hoot to play. But not a playstyle that will carry over at all to DA2 from what I've heard. Two Hander was excruciating to play with directly. So unbearably slow. Warrior just got to keep the dull parts.

I don't usually play warriors (although I do like playing a woman with a huge 2-h weapon), but the talents and specs in DA were so much fun that I'll be doing it again in DA2... after my mage.

Lol you could make your warrior attack extremly fast if you built them right and had a mage. My Warriors were dual wielders that downed armys in a matter of seconds with only taking very low damage!Cutlass Jack wrote...
I've got no problem with Dodge going to Cunning. I love cunning.

S&B warriors really are boring, though. I'm not gonna lie.
