That's kind of the thing though, why would the american gamestop not include this item for a preorder if the Norwegian gamstops are offering it?

If it is a matter of the amount of codes available, i can understand but if not then y not give us the codes. This would be more incentives to buy the game from gamestop (even though other places have the same items) and thus more revenue.

They already paid for the item in the company, y not put it on all the stores around the world?

Gamestop Europe, Gamestop Auss is a different beast than the US version.

Im seriously hoping, and it IS looking more and more the case, that AmazonUK simply did not know about this offer as opposed to actively not supporting it. As some have said, there is simply NO reason why they should not offer it, There automated responses have said time and time again "we want to provide the best service to our customers" and I can't imagine they hope to achieve that level of service by randomly going "you know what? **** the customers and their preorders."

There is so much pre-order stuff with DA2, do you really need more?

I'm sort of sitting back and watching this whole thing unfold, kinda like a train wreck that you can't stop watching.

Between all the free items, the dlc, the retailers who canceled pre-orders too late for customers to place an order for the signature edition, the retailers who aren't offering the pre-order stuff at all, the retailers who should be offering the pre-order stuff but didn't know about it... I don't believe I've ever seen so much of a mess and confusion around any Bioware release. What, if anything, EA's steller customer support is adding to it is unknown. It does make me wonder why they are throwing out so many bribes to convince people to pre-order the game.

Pretty obvious they want Day 1 sales because after that point the amount of sales decline.

Third! I am a collector of DLC and its really annoying to have to pick were to pre-order it since I will never buy 3-4 of the same game just to get all of the exclusive content!

I hate exclusive content. I can understand things like the extra stuff for preorders such as the Signature Edition, but giving an amulet or whatever to certain stores just seems silly. That said, usually the exclusive perks aren't that significant anyway.

I have a feeling Gamestop will have exclusive content when the games nearing release but thats mainly cause I'm hoping they will have exclusive content. If they get exclusive content it better be something for a rogue since they can't use longswords anymore.

Indeed. Being penalized for ordering from a different retailer is beyond retarded. I'm still purchasing your damn game, aren't I? What exactly makes me less important of a consumer than someone who orders from gamestop?

For me gamestop is special because my older brother works there so thats where I go to pre order games because I can go up there after school and my brother has my preorder game right there waiting for me luckely he always work on tuesday

@OP: Seriously, you just want another extra sword or armour? It's not like these additional content counts as significant added value. I got the CE of ME2 and got the Collector Rifle and Armour. Never used either of them.

You got it wrong there, BioWare/EA are the personal lapdogs of Gamestop. EA/BioWare needs Gamestop far more then Gamestop needs EA/BioWare. If you're not on good terms with what is by far the largest video game retailer in the world it's going to be felt. Look how easy Gamestop violates agreements (Such as releasing before street date) with zero repercussions.

thank you for coggecting me and making me see that it is petty to want something that I might not use besides belive it or not give me my fist s and I can pretty much beat my way through a good game. and as for game stop I do like them alot I live in Maine and Game stop yey I'm thereI.ve even got to Know them on a frist name baseis
