I already stated the devs have said she isn't technically an abomination because she's bonded to a spirit, not a demon, but the templars would still label her an abomination and kill her. I agree that it doesn't make them right, but they have control over all the mages in the Andrastian nations (with the exception of Grey Wardens only). If they found out that Wynne was bonded to a spirit, they would label her to be an abomination and kill her. In terms of lore, we've been in agreement since the beginning - Wynne isn't technically an abomination by the fact that she's in a symbiotic relationship with a Spirit of Faith, not a demon.
Heh..... Well you actually might be right after all about spirits sometimes possessing bodies of mages (and perhaps the occasional non mage). Took a gander upon some DA2 info on the wiki and saw a pic or two of Anders and what seems to be him possessed by a spirit (says by Justice from Awakening). Though I see no forms of physical decrepitude from the union of the two, and I doubt that the spirit of Justice would force Anders to committ wrongdoing. After all, he is rightful, and I like him.
How am I trying to disprove all the lore behind the DA Wiki by saying that no one has provided any proof tthat demonology is tied to blood magic? No one has provided any codex entry or dialogue from the storyline stating that demonology (the summoning of demons) is tied to blood magic.
My question is "can
you prove that it is speculation". I do not see that the info posted on here is merely speculation. I do not see anything on these tidbits of lore that say something like "this is just a legend and has not yet been proven true" or "this is actually NOT true". Thus I take it for fact, and shall rest upon it until proven otherwise, Besides, no other form of magic actually practices it, certainly not creation or primal. The closest to exampling summoning is spiritual, as to it summons undead, but no demons.
I didn't assume she knew, and that doesn't address my statement at all. It's a Blight - Wynne is aware of this, and she's aware of the history behind the Wardens ending the Blights. She knows the Wardens were mostly killed at Ostagar, so why would she get one of the last two Wardens alive killed after saving the Circle? I know that you've addressed that you find this OOC for Wynne.
She is aware as much as I know that the Grey Wardens once owned Griffons and that they were the only ones to end Blights, but as my conversation with Sara goes, she doesn't know
why. Nowhere does she mention of her being aware of the secrets including the joining or the ultimate sacrifice. She is
not aware of any of it, otherwise she would certainly be spreading the word and too many would know to want to undergo the procedures anyhow. As far as the Circle goes, I have already repeated my answers to your question about why Wynne would want to kill the blood mage Warden saving the Circle, I will not repeat them again.
Do you think Wynne is going to play a role in DA2? I thought it might address the meeting of the Magi in Cumberland. I can't imagine what seems to be an important story point being ignored, but I could be wrong.
She might, but then she would probably be mentioned in the same manner as Anders was. I heard the Chantry gets destroyed in the end of the second game, but it was just a rumor; whether or not it's actually true doesn't bother me. Then again, for all the oppressive Wynne haters, she might be an enemy in DA2 and people can even kill her because she represents a tyrannical Chantry in the Free Marches!!! Yay to all the single-minded Wynne haters!!

I don't understand why Wynne is so stubborn when it comes to the ashes. I mean shes not even pious and yet its impossible to talk her out of leaving/killing you like you can do with Leli.
I would be too if someone tried to destroy a holy relic which might benefit those in need of it. True though I would not try to ascertain to the extraordinary lengths of killing the one doing it; unless their survival was not ABSOLUTELY necessary to end a Blight. Let's try and compare the relic to our symbol of hope; would I let someone try and desecrate my dead mother's rosary if they got near it and if it meant the salvation of the universe? Sorry, paint me a bastard, but no one is touching my rosary!

Poor example perhaps: the connection was to try and make it something you look up to so passionately.
