I want to download some of the new DLC like Shadow Broker, but I don't want to start a fresh game up.

ME2 does not detect my save files after upgrading to Win7 from Vista

I played through ME2 on my old OS which was Vista. I copied all folders onto an external HD and copied them all back onto my PC after installing Win7. After a fresh ME2 install on Win 7 I copied my save games and my profile over, but my saved games are not showing up, and it gives me no "continue game" option. My achievements, however, are showing up.
I want to download some of the new DLC like Shadow Broker, but I don't want to start a fresh game up.

OK, I figured out a fix so I'll leave this in case any of you ever have the same problem. I had to start a new game, go through the whole intro, then save my game. After saving the new game I copied my save file into this new save folder and it worked. My old save folder didn't work until I did this.
