I know DX11 won't be present, but PC demos usually have all the other graphic options, right?

The demo will clear all of this up, hopefully. Even without DX11 seeing the graphics on max settings should settle all of this speculation on screenshots.

Its possible it might be limited to the "Resolution" setting.

Not necessarily- its not uncommon in many demos to have many if not most graphics options really scaled back so as to make the file size of the demo smaller. Usually there are still the lower end options, but the higher end ones aren't usually available, or if they are, quite limited.

I can't wait for the mod to remove those circles...
They're probably not toggable.
You will be able to toggle the circles on/off.
[Edit] Sorry, I see this has been confirmed about a million times already.
One thing I hope to see is the ability to toggle OFF all those annoying sustained and rune effects.

OK just finished a play through of Awakenings and Witch Hunt and the sword is the same size as any DAO. Look at Ageless for example.Lotion Soronnar wrote...

I just don't understand. If you have done something well the first time. KEEP IT THAT WAY.

If the world operated with that mindset, we'd all still be driving Model Ts, and hooking our Commodore 64s up to our Black and white Television sets.

Here's the problem: Those were actual improvements.
This isn't.
It's ugly as hell.

I think the thing that upsets me most in those pics is the completely non-functional armor the blight guys are wearing, I'm sorry but they might as well run around naked with all those holes in their armor, I mean seriously THE AUXILLARY IS VULNERBLE WHAT'S THE POINT? And their backs are bare, what if they got flanked by archers?
Sorry for the rage, I take my armor seriously.
Edit: Well, at least they have armor for their thighs.
Completely throwing logic out the door because the game runs on an HP system? Even more so.

The character models look great, and are clearly above origins in terms of the detail and the fact they seem to be wearing clothing... but the landscape is terrible and blocky. At least, IMO. I wonder if they aren't sacrificing resolution & textures in the environment to get high quality models, at least for the consoles and then just scaling up for the PC.
They are. They said they are, in order to make the characters "pop".

I can't with clear conscience say i see anything about graphics in these screenshots that is much improved. Resolutions, textures, models all appear to be on level of fidelity that's very similar to DAO (when viewed at similar distances/angles) It's possible i'm missing something specific, so if you could point it out, that'd be appreciated.Upsettingshorts wrote...
Yeah, disliking the art style is all well and good but I can't see anything about the graphics in these screenshots that isn't much improved.
Perhaps it's higher quality than DAO on consoles, but it seems about on par with the PC version. The really dull environments don't help this impression, granted.
