So I was playing ME1 today, right? I was doing those sidequests in the Armstrong Cluster where you fight tons of geth. I parked the Mako on a hill so I could get a good vantage point to snipe. Somehow, though, I slid down the hill.
I could not get back up to the Mako.
I walked all the way around the hill, looking for a place to get back up, but to no avail. I had to reload.
This happen to anyone else?
AARRRRGGGH.

A few times, yes. Just don't leave the Mako. Use it's sniper-thing to shoot with. That's why it has a scope.

I have to say, no need to reload. Just go to you map and look for the Normandy command. You can get back from anywhere on the planet on foot and in the vehicle. Try it out, it's pretty nice when stuff like this happens. Hope that helps.

@Sandbox47: You get more XP killing things on foot.
@Sparda: I didn't know you could go back to the Normandy while out of the Mako.

WHats worse is when you slip into a small ditch whose walls are just to steep to climb back out of. The Mako is in sight, and for a tantalising nanosecond you can get the "enter vehicle" reticule highlighted, but you slip back down before you can mash the E key. <_<

Yeah you can, I know thanks to getting stuck in a mineral survey beacon one time.

If you are on the PC there's always the "spawnvehicle" console command.
