*SPOILERZZZZ*
In ME1 the big choice was to either save the council or let them die and let the alliance focus on soviren (mispelled).

In ME2 the big ending choice was to either let Cerburus have the colloctor ship or destroy it so no one could have the technology of the collectors.

The question is what do you think the big ending choice will be in ME3. I think it will be something along the lines of saving earth or saving other galatic planets (planets not owned by humanity).

Note: this thered may have been done befor i was just to lazy to go look and see if it was Image IPB

I have a feeling it will either be something similar to that, or some DA:O "noble sacrifice" shenanigans.  Both are a bit meh, and I'm hoping Bioware will get creative with this.  Chances are, though, it'll have something to do with human dominance.  That seems to be the pattern.

The big choice will be... Will Shepard accept the truth of being the reincarnation of Morrigan and the Grey Warden's son? Joking.

Shep is going to end up 50,000 years in the past. He will have the choice of stopping the Reapers once and for all while saving the Protheans--which of course means that the reality that he comes from will never come to pass-- Or he can chose to let the Protheans be annihilated while doing something much more fool-proof than Dr. Ksad Ishan did with Vigil, in order to save the people in the time that he comes from.

- Destroy Earth, along with the surviving Earthlings and destroy the Reapers once and for all

- Save Earth, scare off the Reapers but they'll survive

- Bad Ending: You fail and the Reapers destroy the Galaxy.

I think it'll come down to a preference of humanity over the galactic community.

Protect earth but loose large numbers of turian asari etc.

Protect Key council targets but loose earth completely.

I'd actually like that. The final (After Credits) choice in the game should be something mundane and simple.

Also, SAVE THE CHEERLEADER or SAVE THE GALAXY

Save the Normandy and your crew/squadmates or save innocents.

Now that would be an awesome ending.

I hope we don't have to choose between Earth and random planets.  Earth is like Stalingrad, it must be protected at all costs!  It must not fall to the enemy!  Sacrifice as many aliens as is needed to preserve it!

How is earth like stalingrad?

The reapers arent attacking earth because its named after Shepard as was the case with stalingrad.

Shepard could choose whether to friend TIM or deny his request on their equivalent of Facebook.

I didnt word it correctly

Germany had no reason to attack stalingrad but old Adolf decided that because it bore the name of his mortal enemy Stalin it had to be taken at all costs.

If it had been called something else like belograd there would have been no reason at the time to attack it.

Both sides took large casualties in the battle of Stalingrad but I dont see how Stalingrad could apply to an army of humanoids vs giant ai ships.

As Shepard seems to be to the reapers what Stalin was to Hitler saying that Earth is the ME3 stalingrad is simply unlogical.

Human colonies to date are still very small. If we lose Earth the human race is screwed. We'll become parasites like the Quarians or a politely-phrased slave race like the Drell or walking jokes like the Vorcha.

We will be forever reduced to staffing massage parlors, scrubbing toilets and making Turian Hilfiger t-shirts for 10 cents a day.

Nah, Earth will be more like Leningrad. An isolated bastion under siege until adequate forces can be brought to bare and drive off the attackers. In the trailer, Earth seems completely cut off from any outside support.

My guess is it will be a choice between saving Earth or surviving.
