I think we are going to have to just 'agree to disagree', Persephone. You have your image of the character and I have mine. I don't think either of us is willing to concede a point in this debate which just means we are going to be arguing around in circles with nothing being resolved and no middle ground reached.
You have your way of playing and it's fun for you and that's great, it really is. That's the whole point of the game when all is said and done. I have my way of playing and it's fun for me. They may not be the same but perhaps we can both agree that the game is fun with characters of great facet and interest.
I will admit this, Loghain is anything but boring. A boring character wouldn't inspire such love (and hate) from the fans of the game as numerous threads on this board can attest.
Do you hold the things NPCs did in other playthroughs against them?
