Not on this website, but pretty much every other gaming forum, this is the consensus, there is way more negativity for the changes than there is for people praising it, people are laughing at how bad the game looks, hopefully there will be some redemption for DA3, if there is one.

This website isn't "We love Dragon Age II so much!". It's for all fans. So, I'm not really seeing a consensus with your theory.

Honestly, on the websites that I am on, most people dont think its going to be good, maybe I should check out the larger ones, but mostly what I have seen has not been favourable, maybe you guys are right and this will the best dam game out there.

There is no reason to go after the OP was the only point I was making, he is a fan like everyone else on here, some fans are more accepting of change, and some are not.

I will not be posting in this thread anymore, the game is dont, no ****ing will change the content of it.

The fact that people are going after the OP shows that there are a fair number of people who think it'll be good.  Go to any topic where someone says DA2's either going to be good or bad and you'll see that largely opinion is split. 

And ammazingly, some people like some things about and dislike other things.  I know, look at this brave new world where people can view games as things other than total successes and total failures.

Edit: One more point. You're not in charge of your character's destiny anymore. You're just watching the already established story of some random human unfold while your role is to fill it in with colorful dialogue.

There's more, but I'm tired of typing and each point is making me exponentially angrier. 

Why all these changes? You had a great thing going with DAO. Couldn't we just have more of that? With each new piece of news that informed me about features being stripped away or becoming less complex in Dragon Age 2, I became progessively less interested. It seems like you've just moved backwards. 

So you wanted the sequel to be more direct from DAO with little to none changes implemented? This is not representative of the majority but it is an actual community posting opinions and first impressions upon each new reveal of information, I don't expect you to read all 200+ pages.

It's simply a statement that there are infact negative communities out there.
A lot of the complaints are now null, but understand that the complaints are natural and that first impressions are important.

Edit: Disclaimer skip the first few pages for the first big reveal(gameplay).

They shown combat footage...the tactial camera is still there...

there was never really "evil" options...except destroying the Urn...which really is the only evil choice...This system is more akin to real life...you don't have to kiss all the companions asses to keep them around. YOu could be a selfish douche...but that does not = evil.

there is an aerial tactical camera and they can still leave if you do something extreme (like disturbing the ashes in origins etc..)

Umm no. I never used that camera angle because it make it to easy to make up red rover strategies and I used pause and play and strategy all the time. Not quite sure why you think that a camera angle determines if you can use strategy or not.
