The collector armor was part of the Digital Deluxe edition on Steam. Not sure if it was exclusive to Amazon...



Either way, it's a piece of armor and an ugly one at that. I would prefer Bioware to work on actual content!

I would just like them to make the whole suit as high resolution as the helmet, and the helmet collapsable. That is all.

I actually dont like the armors that arent in pieces lol. The full suit armors i think suck.

I got the collector armor for the collector rifle, great gun until you get the rifle on the Collectors ship.

The collector armor isn't even worth it. The collector's edition of Mass Effect 2 although however was pretty awesome if I do say so myself.

Because of the comic. :| And the fancy Cerberus key and all that. XD

you can't if you don't have collector's edition. I don't know about PS 3. but as far as I know, PS 3 users can't get neither. they have only blood armor, terminus armor and weapon, inferno armor. not collector. I have PC version of collector's edition. nowadays, Bioware or other places don't sell it no more. it became very rare item todays. I am proud of one of them.

I hope you realize that adapting a game that has been out for a year to a completely new console is slightly harder than recreating the entire game with Croatian voice actors. There were bound to be bugs, and short of having a few hundred thousand individual testers for the PS3, they just had to go for it. They WANTED to share this game with you early enough that you would all be able to play ME3 having completed ME2. In fact, they gave you enough time to complete it several times over, which is what many people do.

If you'd rather you couldn't play the game at all (and with ME3 engine no less, which no other system has yet), then return your game and the DLC.

Not true. Recon Operations Pack for the PS3 gives the Dr. Pepper helmets and the Collector Weapon and Armor.

screw that pointless armor... what about the blackstorm thing? how come the PS3 gets it, yet we had to pre-order ME2 in order to get it? Do the PS3 players get all of the Dr. Pepper promotions too? :-(

I think it's unfair that PS3 owners get the Collector rifle and armor as well as the Terminus armor and Blackstorm projector. Xbox owners get the shaft on two DLC packs that were supposed to be exclusive for meeting certain criteria(pre-ordering the game and purchasing the collector edition).

Yeah...the rEApers are known for misleading the consumer. The Collectors Edition is proof of it. On the box that I bought it says the collector armor is "exclusive" and now they list it as limited on the website. They need to be reported to the Better Buisness Bureau.

They probably think it's unfair that they are unable to experience Mass Effect 1, and that they got the game almost a year after we did...

I was responding to the bolded text. I suppose I could have used something other than "Not true" as an intro.

BTW, I play on the 360. I paid $89 Canadian Dollars for the Collector's Edition ordered from EA.com. I made the effort to get all the Dr. Pepper stuff. The only DLC I don't have is the Blackstorm and Terminus Armor. The funny part is that even though I want them, and may use the Blackstorm, I don't use anything other than the Firepower Pack, Aegis Pack, Arc Projector and the Visor which grants +10% Headshot damage.

You open a can of worms when you start the cross-platform discussion as far as games go. I'd buy Heavy Rain for the 360 if it came out in the next 6 months, for example.

One key distinction though is that Heavy Rain didn't have a prequel. That was definitely a bit of a downer, I'm not sure why they couldn't have packaged ME 1 and 2 together (probably just logistic reasons, or way too many bugs to deal with)

Only two "suit armors" are actually beneficial. Blood Dragon which is king for caster type classes and the Terminus because I think it looks really cool.

Otherwise N7 and Kestrel armor is the best, hands down.

I wore my collectors armor once, on my first playthrough and that was only when I was trying on the different armors on Minuteman Station immediately after the Lazarus Research Station thing. After two seconds I immediately went back to N7 and never wore it again.
