I laughed so hard when Alistair was mocking him, trying to take his food, when Dog snaps after him. "Sometimes I forget he's a war dog. That'll teach me!" xDElement CL wrote...
Very entertaining. I love how he growls at Alistair when he tells the dog he's been fed human beings.
That and Sten growling at Dog.

The dog and associated interactions were great. I just wish he didn't take up a companion slot.
Agreed! He's way cool but not quite up to being a full-on character I think. Maybe spec him down a bit and have him like a summoned creature. Perhaps not even controllable in combat, just set agro/defensive/passive etc. and he attacks what you attack or something like that.

no. No. NO. NO! NOOOOO!!!!! If you honestly believe Rabbit isn't completely awesome then the ONLY logical explaination is that you are both insane and need to have your heads examined.
The game needs MORE Rabbit, not less.
edit: @ RaNGeRGaV, Riddley313: I wanted to come up with sumthin' intelligent, insightful and pithy, but I am none of those things so it was easier to insult you; it was for comedic effect and no offence was intended. . . ok, a little offence was intended, just 'cuz Rabbit is one of my favorite companions and I'm sick of all the "he's a wasted slot", "he's not a full/real companion", "he should be a pet" complaints. He's awesome as is, LEAVE HIM ALONE !

Morrigan: This mutt put a half-eaten in my pack, with my unmentionables!
PC: Can't be stinkier than what normally goes in them...
As for the dog's usefullness: Specc him to Overwhelm as quickly as possible, then set tactics to:
Nearest Visible Enemy Mage->Overwhelm.
He's quicker than a humanoid character so he'll reach that enemy Mage quickly and pin him down, or even killing him outright.

Morrigan and Dogs ongoing banter is also plenty hilarious
Overwhelm + enemy mage = magical cookies!
