I keep being told I have a new group invite, but I really don't. Anyone else seen this?

Yep. There are several ideas on how to get rid of the "new update" message here, but it might not work at all.

Group invitation and friend requests that aren't actually there anymore stay there. Am stuck with 2 of them right now. You can't really do a lot about it but hope for a future fix, which is highly unlikely, knowing the dedication put to the stability of this site.

Why can't they fix this? I have one saying I have a friends request and it is slowly driving me insane...

From what I heard, last time they tried to "fix things"... they screwed it even more. Go figure if they'll go on another fixing crusades. Just don't understand how the BSN is supposed to be more stable than the BioBoards.

Well it's a damned miracle. Somehow deleting my cache enough times got rid of the thing.

Yeah, they are like that cat song. Whatever you do... it's gonna follow and torment you for the next or so eternity. (photo tags however can be removed, sillily enough)
