The debate that's been going on ever since TNG. Me personally, I don't know. I mean, Picard pioneered the face-palm and yet Kirk yelled "KHAAAAAN!!!!" and that could be heard from SPACE.
Who do you like better: Picard or Kirk?

Depends. If I wanted someone to get a good kicking, I'd choose Kirk. If I had to actually be on a spaceship, I think my chances of surivial would be rather a lot better with Picard.
Both are quite awesome though, just in different ways.

Picard. The guy has more insight in things and he sounds more wise. But then again, I think that becomes he's older than Kirk. He's cool too.

Janeway. Yes I liked the other Captains but Janeway is my fav over all of them. However if having to just pick between Picard and Kirk...

TV series Picard. I never bothered with any movies. He came across as a strategist and thinker. Kirk was more of an everyman; which is fine, but he was rarely as inspiring. It may also help that I grew up watching TNG. Kirk's era was also before my time. I tried checking out the original series out of curiosity and was decidedly whelmed by how much it bored me. I honestly cannot believe I watched as many episodes as I did, considering...
