     Im just curious but am i the only fan of DA:O that is actually 100% excited and supportive of all the changes/improvements to DA2? I mean ya its diffrent, but its not called Dragon age: orgins 2. Its still the same fun dialouge, combat and exsploration we all love but with a prettier skin and some changes to keep it fresh two years later.
     So, as a fellow DA fan boy i ask you all to take a breath, put your fanboyism aside for two seconds and relise you all have already pre-ordered a month ago and are going to play threw it 8 times in the first week it's released and just enjoy the hype and the game for what it is, a sequal. Not an exspansion!

We're upset about a few things, but by and large, I think people are looking forward to the release.

I'm not 100% supportive of all the changes. But I am very much looking forward to the game.

I didn't preorder, maybe that's why I'm so jaded, or maybe I'm jaded and that's why I didn't preorder. :huh:

I'm looking forward to the game as well though, regardless of my whines.

That's not jaded. At all.

You can't blame people for having a few reservations. None of us know exactly how these changes are going to pan out.

I'm terrified of the oncoming paraphrasing system and VA performances. But I'm still excited for this game. Call me crazy. Image IPB

I am about to explode with pure excitement for this game. That being said, I'm apprehensive about some of the changes. I look forward to most of them, after all, change isn't so bad is it folks?

As long as Lady Hawkette has a good voice and the flirting does not sound like sexual harassment, I'm not too scared of any of the changes.

I don't know what to think. The way the changes are shown so far certainly doesn't get my hopes up. The graphics look worse than in DA:O....if you can play it as an Action-RPG than playing it tactically with the more tactical options for playing still being in place will make it a breeze....you can play it as an Action-RPG (yes, that's a seperate point).....

I loved Dragon Age for being the great, rather classic RPG that it was. I've got Mass Effect if I feel like more action, so DA2 really doesn't need to be "streamlined".

Edit: And I don't like the voiced main character. Yes, that's right, I prefer him to be silent so I can give him the most fitting voice in my head and make him more personalized. I also don't like the main character to be of a fixed race (human) and the fact that the Origins stories are gone.

This. Dragon Age II sounds cool and everything but this is nothing compared to Mass Effect 3

And this year we have Deus Ex. Human Revolution and Skyrim. two other huge games to competetite with BioWare Stuff's.

No. Dragon Age has a much better story and lore.

Ehh... I'm just bitter after ME2's throwaway plot.

I have a lot of reservations based on the current information, yet I'm still looking forward to the game. I pre-ordered the SE some time ago now.

LOL... Shepard dig? :P  I'm looking forwards to the game too, I don't think people are jaded just disappointed in some respects things changed from one style to another and reserved about how it will work out.

I've no doubt I'll play the heck of it. :wizard:

No.

that's your POV. on mine if I need to choose, i'll take ME3. and don't try to make me say DA2 doesn't worth it : It sounds really really awesome. however, I prefer sci-fi over Fantasy.

@Eshaye

As much as I love FemShep, she sounds like a dirty pervert when she talks to Jacob.

@Everyone about ME3 and DA2

You can't compare those two games. They both have good things, and both have bad.

I am looking forward to ME3, I'm just wondering when their going to get around to you know, actully talking about the game, it doesn't even have its own forum like DA2 does Image IPB (but I'm not saying which is better, it depends on what mood I'm in lol)

But to the OP, I am looking forward to DA2, but I'm also slightly wary of the changes.

Not true they both share lame sidequests in their first games, and hopefully they both share good sidequests(me2 had good side quests,. So, I'm crossing my fingers 2 for 2.)

Edit: I wish I could delete my posts, is that possible? Or mod only?
