Most: Varric and Aveline
Least: Merrill (no blood mages around me!) and "Anders" (if it really is Ser Whine-a-lot Anders).

Aveline as my most anticipated/intrigued, as I voted in the poll, and Carver would be my second interest. The least? Isabela.

Isabela, Aveline, Varric Bethany/Carver in pretty much that order. I think I'll like all of them though.

In order...
Merrill
Isabela
Anders (Normally it would've been below Bethany/Carver but Gaider has me intrigued...)
Bethany/Carver (I really want to see how the sibling thing is handled)
Aveline
Varric
Fenris
Sebastian
And are we counting the mabari? If so, the mabari is at number 1.

I'm looking forward to all of them!
Forward to the most: That is a tie between Isabela and Fenris. It's nice to have a darker skinned/featured female as the potential *main* ally for once instead of the fair-skinned/dark haired girl (like in the Mass Effect series and Origins). Plus she's a rogue and likely a bad girl, seems much more adventurous as opposed to merely snarmy and stuck up (Morrigan). Fenris...well Fenris is attractive, seems to have an interesting backstory, and is a strong two handed warrior as opposed to being the archetypal elven puny weakling.
In the middle: Carver/Bethany/Aveline. Carver/Bethany is going to be rather interesting the way their stories pan out (can't wait to see the different looks Carver and Bethany can have in the game!!!) and they will likely be the center of the story. Aveline is pretty interesting and I like the fact that she's more average looking (not ugly though) and physically strong, a nice contrast from the typical *please help me* healer (Jrpgs), headstrong female lead (Bastila/Ashley), or snarmy caster (Morrigan/Miranda) that many female characters embody in rpgs. Plus she's going to have an interesting backstory, I just know it.
So-so: Merrill/Anders/Sebastian. Merrill is cute but she doesn't stand out to me. Still it's nice to have an elven female mage (as long as she's nothing like Velanna...ugh). Anders is the same, I liked him in Awakening but compared to the other party members he just doesn't stand out as much. (Still...at least we have a male mage...no female human mages in this one). As far as Sebastian goes, he's alright. Hopefully he's an LI (*now I sound like one of those that want everyone in the game to be romanceable...but I happen to like him*)
Meh: Varric. Aside from the fact that he 's an archer rogue he just doesn't interest me. He reminds me of being a more suave version of Oghren, kind of dirty, lecherous, and full of dirty humor. Except he's more classy about it. I don't hate his character (haven't played to judge) but so far he's my least favorite from what I've seen.

I am least looking forward to Anders, him being in the game absolutely blows my mind. It doesn't make any sense, none what so ever!

I'm looking forward to Isabella the most, as I like everything I know and have seen of her so far.
Close behind is Varric, Anders, and Bethany. Varric sounds as awesome as Isabella, but I don't really know much about him other than what the devs have said. I love Anders, and think he'll fit perfectly in Hawke's story. I hope Ser-Pounce-A-Lot returns and the fact Anders, the fairly selfish coward, will be sharing a body with Justice sounds like it'll be a good laugh. Bethany is a real story changer, in that she makes Hawke's story more about protecting a sibling from the Templars, which I think is nice.
I'll reserve judgement for Merrill and Fenris. I don't even have a clue if they'll be fun/cool or not.
I have a bad feeling about Carver. Bethany gives Warrior/Mage Hawke a purpose. Carver... just adds what (from what I've seen in that video) a whiny little muggle brother. Very not cool, and very not fun.
Not excited about Aveline. She just seems so... normal. Nothing against her, but she just doesn't appeal to me. Maybe it's the same reason I killed Ashley. There's only room for one fighter woman in this adventure. >=E

The most interesting character to me just became Anders, I won't say why because it's super spoilery.
