Oh I never noticed this thread so I made my own thread with my video. Posting it here as well then! Alright, mine's a bit more on the funnier side but it's still a tribute, damn it!
Shepard, N7
Woops, I didn't notice this thread either! Going to have to go through and watch.
Mine:
I've attempted to capture Mass Effect 2 in all it's glory, experienced through the eyes of a Vanguard reneparagade Femshep.
Like Marianna, the galaxy might not enjoy it, but because of Shepard, they'll live.
I plan to make more videos in the future, so any advice/criticism/feedback is super appreciated!
Thank you for watching [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/happy.png[/smilie]

A friend told me to put in the red herring tags haha (his words "everyone does it"). At least I lampshaded it with a 'ridiculous tags' tag!

Hi everyone!
I'm a fairly new initiate to the Mass Effect franchise but I've just played through 1 & 2 back-to-back. Loved every minute of both games! Anyway, a friend of mine thought it would be good to knock up a TV series intro and this is my effort.
Mass Effect Season 1 TV Intro
Please let me know what you think.
A couple of others I think deserve credit are linked below (I don't know if they're already on this thread or not so sorry in advance for re-posting).
Mass Effect 2 TV Series Intro
Mass Effect 2 (Stargate SG-1)
Enjoy!

I'm impressed. What program do you use for blending two clips together like that? After Effect?
I'd love to get some tips on how to edit clips more in that fashion.

The bulk of the work was done in Adobe Premiere Pro CS5. The clip blending was done with a track matte I knocked up in Photoshop. Most of the transitions were done with a simple linear wipe effect with heavy feathering on the edges. The look and colouring was achieved with a ProcAmp (no idea what that means, it just looked ok so I kept it) and a spot of Hue-Lighting-Saturation adjustment. This had the unexpected effect of almost totally fading out the backgrounds in the character portraits and darkening the outer edges in the foreground shots. Fluke!
The only part where I used After Effects was a spot of rotoscoping on the damaged ship in the Garrus bit. If you look closely, you'll see that the ship passes across Garrus's face rather than behind it.
I'm pretty new to After Effects so I tend to avoid using it if I can but that'll will hopefully change when I get round to doing the season 2 credits. It's quite an intimidating program to newcomers but there's a brilliant site for would-be special effects artists. www.videocopilot.net
Tons of AE stuff in there but no Premiere Pro although there's loads of tutorials on YouTube. That's how I learn this stuff.

The Renegade Trailer
Epic. I would recommend you be careful with the 'fade to black' transitions though: with the strings of shorter clips blackscreen ends up eating tons of screentime. Love the quote from the Tali/Legion renegade resolution, one of the most badass quotes in the game.

I have done a couple of music vids to Mass Effect 2, I guess you could call them "tribute" videos. Here are a few :-

Oh my god I had to turn off Surfin Bird
I liked In the Army Now, really liked how it started to get focused on all those deaths in the SM (shot of the coffins is pretty saddening, never seen that before) but didn't quite feel the video came together to build up to that in the early going. Havn't gotten to Livin on a Prayer yet.

Enemies.Batarians.ME.1-3
After the last DLC to the ME-2 (Arrival) cleared up some storylines last part of the trilogy. For example, one of the enemies of commander Shepard will be representatives by the Batarians race. In this plot attempt to trace the complex relationship of Commander Shepard with them. From accident at the Tera Nova (ME1) up to the destruction of one batarian star system with thousands of inhabitants (DLC Arrival). Music: Epic Rock. Audiomachine and Two Steps from Hell.

Sort of a tribute ( though it's something I call a trailer for ME3 made by me for my Let's Play that I am going to do when the game comes out ).

The main "Hero of Our Time" in the computer world of games - Commander Shepard (Mass Effect). But he had predecessors. They also fought bravely with "Universal Evil", and won it, usually alone. Right, they deserve to be remembered about them ...
This story - a product of joint work of several fans of computer’s games. (Seth. Green. Alexei). Music: It seems that the main theme is easily recognizable. Hero - he is always and everywhere a hero ...

One of the most interesting person (after Shepard) in ME2 – Samara. Her history - perhaps the most tragic conflict in the game. On the one hand her daughter Morinth killer. But she was ill. Even in our world - if someone is a mentally ill person and he committed the murder - Such a person is not awarded to the death.. A very ambiguous situation. This situation I have tried to present as a small video film.
Soundtrack: GRV Music – Darkness, X-Ray-Dogs, Two Steps from Hell and Jack Wall.

This story - the continuation of the previous amateur video film on the history of krogan, very exotic characters in the game Mass Effect. The plot of this is the product of co-authorship of several fans of the game (Alexei, Seth, Green. Kelzo). This, the second part of the story (first: http://www.dailymoti...effect-p1_music) captures the main events of Mass Effect 2 and ends with an attack on Earth by Reapers (Mass Effect-3- fantasy of course ...). The plot - it's not the content of the game, and the impressions of it. Since the main character can have a different shape, often very vivid impressions are stored on different types of hero in the same situations.

The authors of the game certainly managed to create quite realistic and attractive image of Liara T’Sony. Liara has become almost a literary character. Author’s luck - a demonstration of the changes of Liara's character in the game. From a recent student (ME1) up to the SB (LotSB DLC). Naturally, the main character in the game (ME3) (second plan after Shepard) will be Liara T'Sony. We created video film in the topic: of how changed the character of Liara. Including an episode of Rescue of the Body of Shepard. In order to comply with gender-correctness (the majority of plots of Liare's adventures associated with male-Shepard) in this video the main hero is Zena Shepard.
Soundtrack of the story is built on a mix of some well-known masters of epic music: Two Steps from Hell, X-Ray Dogs, Inon Zur.

Hello everyone, I just created a new youtube channel called Extranet Terminal.
You can use it to access the Mass Effect's universe Extranet.
I will upload shows like Citadel Newsnet, Westerlund News, Illium News, Omega News, Badass Weekly and Cerberus Daily News.

Also, the Shadow Broker Network will be used for OOC communications with the viewers.
I will use that show for mass effect 3 news, E3 coverage, answering comments, etc

Thanks for watching and enjoy your time on the Extranet!

That is not fare! Bioware fem sheps demand there fanservice I want some tasteful intimacy for fem shep in ME3 because this is sooooo not fair.
However the videos have all been awesome so far there are a few I still need to watch but like I said if I were a kid and you were my candy I'd be soooo fat right now.

One of the attractive features of the game Mass Effect is the freedom of choice of romantic relationships of heroes. Quite surprisingly it turned out that one of the first places in some of the players (girls - players) took a very unexpected hero. This is an alien (race Drell) Thane Krios. Probably not just an exotic appearance is the main reason for such position....
Saundtrack: X-Ray-Dogs, Two Steps from Hell and Prelude to Calamity (GRV Music)
