First off , sorry if this is not the right forum for this topic. and sorry for asking what have been asked before, but the search thing wont work for me

I once read, a long time ago that the player char can become king at the end, i remember one had to be Human but can that be either warrior or rogue?

Its differant for male and female. Both need to be Human Noble Origen, and have Rank 4 coercion.



Female is simple, Have a relationship with Alistair, kill Lohgaine, and get rid of Anora. There will be a option to Marry the King and rule by his side. (Only way to keep a relationship with Alistair on the throne). How you want to end this is your choice as you can either die killing the Archdemon, Alistair will die(He will always die if you bring him to the final fight and he loves you), or dark ritual Morrigan and both survive. Alistair dead leaves you on the throne alone, or dark ritual opens up further events in future dragon age games.



As a male, its a little trickier. You have to not kill Lohgaine, banish or kill Alister and be on good terms with Anora. Talk her into marrying you. Also she makes it abundantly clear shes not romanticaly intrested in you and that she wields all the power and your title is in name only.

If you like/ don't mind your bride in tears on the wedding night then one ending allows you to keep Alistair i.e. let Alistair fight/ kill Loghain... you still marry Anora but only if you don't make Alistair hard.

I prefer the Alistair+Anora with Lohgaine Alive scenario.

By not making him "hard" you mean i should not do his companion Quest right ?

Avoid telling him things like, "Everyone is out for themselves. You need to learn that" & just pick one of the "Happy, Happy, joy joy" sayings... I forget the exact words but its not hard to tell them apart.

Also it keeps Alistair a whiny, complaining little b* if you dont harden him. It actualy improves his charcater, Leilana hardened....makes her crazy and scary. (Be in a romance and harden leilana then sleep with her........"Im Watching you" creeeeepy)

I have no Conscience

Check about 3:30 "The after sleeping with her" scene.  Its even creepier if she hardened.



I have a problem when someone watches me sleep, and is staring at me like that.
