Help!! I successfully installed EasyTutu, without TotSC, and was happily playing for several hours last night, but when I came back to play it this morning, all my savegame files are gone! I've started up the game the exact same way I did last night, and no savegame files! I've looked in my Tutu folders, my BG1 folders, and my BG2 folders, and can't find them anywhere! I'm sorry, I'm a newbie, and I don't know how to fix things! I'm running Windows 7, my account is not an admin account (not anymore; it WAS an admin account, but I changed that, and tried to load the game again, and still no savegame files), and the mods I have installed are the EasyTutu degreenifier, the BG1 NPC mod and music mod from Gibberlings 3, the Xan and Coran friendship mods, and Gavin. I'd only gotten as far as the Friendly Arm Inn.
Any idea what could have gone wrong??? Please help!! I've posted this query on the PocketPlane forum too, but I need as much help as I can get! Thank you in advance!

In the saves folder, there should be a button along the top of the window called Compatibility files (in the row with Organize, etc). If you click that button your saves should appear. You can then copy them out into the real folder again (since they are stored in the VirtualStore folder for the current user, not the place where the game saves the files).
The BG games play best when you have the game installed outside Program Files, though (eg. C:\\BG Games). If you installed into Program Files, you are going to encounter this sort of issue unless you run the game as an admin.
The reason why your saves vanished, btw, is because you switched from being an admin to not. It'd happen to anything that required admin access previously.

Any suggestions on file recovery here? While working on a different prob, had to use safe mode. Then when I rebooted it loaded a "temporary profile". After logging into my profile, BG2 saves were gone - and I was about 1/2 way though the game
