I just downloaded LotSB yesterday...I can play through until the part climbing the stairs after shutting of the burning pipes. Then, my game says the disc is unreadable.

Ive tried, in order,
Redownloading
Clearing 360 catch and then redownloading
Removing all DLC weapons/content from my characters, turning off loyalty appearances, restarting

Every time I start from a save before any LotSB dialogue starts.

And the kicker is the discs are fine. I can play everything with them. I have never gotten a disc read error before. And The error is confined to this dlc.

So help anyone? I was pumped to play this my second time through but it looks like a massive fail right now.

Edit: I should mention the game is not installed to HDD, and that I have checked all the LotSB crash reports and none of them seem identical to this one. I can play through all the way till the error at Frontiers.

I've got ME2 installed to my HD, and I did not have this issue at that part, maybe try installing the entire game?

How much free space do you have? Is that an option for you, with your HD?

LotSB is downloaded and stored on your local hard drive, not on optical disk. If its giving you a "disk unreadable" error, then it seems to indicate your hard drive has bad sectors or some other form of corruption where LotSB has been stored.
I'm a PC tech and havent tinkered with Xbox's apart from modding my brothers, but thats what the error sounds like to me. Dont know ifthe Xbox comes with any hard drive utilities you can use to check it, but if it does, then I would definately etst the integrity of the disk.

Yeah, I am fearing that. It crashes even faster with the game installed in fact, lending credence to the fact the memory might be failing. What a downer. Any other advice would be appreciated.

Darn, I was hope that would do the trick. Unfortunately, you are more likely going to have to replace the HD if it is a problem in the actual hardware.

Do you have a local place you can find out about your options to check the HD and if need be, to transfer the data?

Well at any rate, here are a few websites I've found to give you an idea on how to transfer the data to another HD. I haven't done it myself though because I didn't have a cable when I had to upgrade.

Also, for ME saves just to be safe, you should also put any saves onto a memory card; and then replay them from the fight in the Citadel Chamber with your new HD so that you place a new hidden save file that you can use to transfer your Sheps into ME2, in the new HD. I recommend this because I do not what is and is not transfered from one HD to another.

Yeah, nothing locally. Also, broke college student. This sucks so hardcore it isnt even funny. That being said, I probably need a bigger drive anyway. Thanks for the advice guys. If you happen to find some miracle cure, let me know.
