Don't start whining we don't know if our imports affect who or what is included. Anders may simply not be there. Its not like Game Informers or reviewers were playing with their save from the original.

Anders will be there no matter what, because that's how bioware does things.

Wrex and Wreave?

Wrex was just a quest giver in ME2, and fairly easy to replace. I can't imagine Anders' epilogue death, that you can really only get if you don't upgrade the Keep, will be treated the same as Wrex's possible in game, with a body and everything death, especially if he's a full blown companion.

Bioware also usaully gives you a choice to recruite them which means you dont have to recruit Anders

yeah, but I was simply saying that Anders will always be available regardless of the epilogue you get in Awakening.

Anders most likely did not die in Awakening even if the epilogue said so, one answer: Ser Pounce-a-lot.

What, did he do the static shock thing to jum start Ander's heart?

*Ser Pounce-a-lot rubs against carpet* *Ser Pounce-a-lot touches Anders* *Anders awakens*

Anders: Always knew you;d save my life someday snookums.

Lol, most likely, Ser Pounce-a-lot had a special power in Awakening, if Anders was in the party and you used him he'd revive all fallen party members, so most likely he revived Anders as well.

Great, did Anders pull off a Michelle Pfeiffer's Catwoman, or what?

That... would actually explain Ser Pounce-A-Lot's power...

Wrex and Wreave?

Neither of them were companions in ME2 Anders is and they aren't going to block access to a companion.

Sure they would. Samara and her daughter, Loghain, Wrex all choices you could make to block a companion. Same thing here.

I'm still skeptical of this - at least until I get my own copy of GameInformer this month. Some guy on the GameFAQs forums purporting this with some very low res scans of a guy who looks like Anders isn't exactly convincing. The Internet is excellent for spreading bad information quickly.

No hints on Greg Ellis' Twitter feed - all of the most recent posts are about Pirates of the Caribbean, The Confession and Star Trek, as well as his new Web site, which has nothing Dragon Age related on it that I could find.

If you killed Anders in Awakening, you get a new mage healer named: Sanders! He is exactly like Anders, except he also makes chicken.

Nope Morinth and Loghain were secret companions and they don't count, and wrex had a plot death that didn't prevent you from recruiting him.

Still there was the overall choice for you to get them and Wrex you could simply choose not to get him in the beginning of Mass Effect 1.

They could easily pass that choice from your save to the next game.

what's the point in having the risk of character death if then one just brushes it off like this??

Don't start whining we don't know if our imports affect who or what is included. Anders may simply not be there. Its not like Game Informers or reviewers were playing with their save from the original.

fully voiceacted characters are the most expensive part of Bioware games. Creating a major character with hundreds of lines which people might not see at all because of their import makes very little sense.

still I guess we will wait and see

There is too many variations such as we don't know if he will be there through out the entire game. Again Wrex you could just skip getting him and thats a character and his lines completely non existent in that playthrough.

Well, to side with the devil for a few lines, you could not recruit several companions in DAO and they didn't  skimp on their content  because of this. Sten and Leliana could be missed and killed in Lothering, and Wynne and Zevran could be killed during their recruitment. Shale is DLC and optional.

It was really, REALLY, REALLY obvious from the start. I am glad, however, because he's extremely funny to be around.

I'd lol if one of the devs turned around and said that Anders isn't the last companion Image IPB
