Oh? Colour me interested now.

Well he seems more caring even tho Awakening clearly demonstrates he cares about people, still ya indeed for Anders.

Ugh. No.
I liked Anders well enough in Awakening but that's all. I don't want him around again.
Yah, not sure why they picked Anders, not a memorable character for me, I found him annoying:<

No. No. Don't try to intrigue me out of my RIGHTEOUS INDIGNATION.
It won't work. I'm not interested.
In fact, maybe I'm not so interested I'll keep reading this thread to see what non-interesting things about a different Anders is being said.

Ok this makes no sense for people who played Awakening. What if he died? What if we gave him to the templers? In my ending he goes back to the circle then back to the keep to help the Warden. Sorry but all of this makes it imposable for Anders to be a party companion unless Bioware is doing a huge retcon which means whatever we did does not matter -___-
I like Anders, don't get me wrong but.....
BW has stated that they are willing to bring a companion back regardless of what happens in the epilogues. Discounting those, the biggest concern would be if he wasn't conscripted in Awakening, but that's easy to change/cover with dialogue. For example, he escaped again and joined the Wardens in another country.
It's not a huge retcon if it doesn't change what happened in the game. Epilogues aren't in the game.

If he's actually helping refugees in a city with Templars all around then, yeah, I'm very interested to see how he has changed. But so long as he still has that wonderful sense of humour, I don't think I'll be disappointed in any character development!

Well I don't care about the epilogues, since they can be rewritten easily. I just wonder what happens with all the different game decisions, for example if you hand Anders over to the Templars in Awakenings. Will this even be mentioned in DA2? Or will he be the 2nd companion with memory leaks?

As long as it's not an "Alistair never loved you" kind of change, I'm sure Anders will be every bit as loveable as before!

........right?

We all know Isabella is around. I haven't been following too
close, so I don't know if this is common knowledge. The article mentions
that one of the first party members to join you will be Anders, the
mage from Awakening. He may have changed dialogue based on his ending in
Awakening, but suffice to say is that he left the Wardens after the
events of Awakening to live in Kirkwall, where he uses his healing
abilities to aid refugees in the city.
now i dont know how accurate this is but it has never failed when someone posts stuff from game informer
[link removed][posting scans of magazine pages is a no-no]
EDIT:for people who dont want spoilers and sorry for posting those pics
If his dialogue changes to depending on the choices you made in Awakening, (and Awakening is a few months after the end of the blight) how can he be one of the first companions you meet when you get to Kirkwall...? Isn't Kirkwall right after you flee Lothering...am I missing something?
