I too hope he's not TOO different! This is probably a bad example to use but I remember back when the character Owen was introduced to the Grey's Anatomy t.v. show. Everyone loved him because he was this bada** army trauma surgeon with unorthodox methods, and he was just this cool dude. A couple episodes later he returned as a series regular, only the writers gave him PTSD and changed his whole personality. He went from Dr. Awesome to tortured, angsty guy. Lots of his fans didn't like the changes (including myself).

I doubt Anders has changed too drastically... Some changes could add some extra interest to him, so as long as I still 'recognize' the guy I'd be fine with it.

Okay so just got back from my classes today. And I see this! Soooo stoked, this just made my monday. Hopefully he'll be voiced by Greg ellis, he did a fantastic job. And it will be interesting to see how Anders has changed as a character *hehe looking at you DG!* And if he is a LI, hopefully, that would be aweseom. We have hot studs in the party! haha Fenris, Varric, and now Anders! XD

I think it was the wedding (if your PC married Alistair) that was six months after the blight. I always had the impression that Awakening was closer to a year afterwards

He didn't die in any of my endings but of course he was always with me. I'm happy that he's back. I do adore his wit and charm and looks and well he's a mage, that's all I have to say.

Great, words cannot express how excited I am.

Please correct me if I am wrond but does this mean that the full list of actual companions is, Varric, Isabella, Aveline, Fenris, Merril and Anders (and Sebastian if you count DLC)? All I am saying is DA2 better have a kick arse story to make up for it because the companions suck.
