It does, kind of, especially since we've never heard the characters use modern day slang in DA:O...unless I'm wrong here.

Okay, at first I was a bit disappointed that Bioware wasn't using the opportunity to bring in a new character (pleasdon'thitme) but I've just been replaying Awakening and, OMG! I've just been reminded how awesome Anders is and how much I love him!

Yay for Anders!

Wait... you wouldn't play the game because Anders is bisexual. No offense, but that's kind of a weak reason to not play a game.

I like the Holy ****. Varric definitely seems like a character who'd use it, and I always thought that DA:O's scrubby clean language was odd. Especially since AListair used some modern slang. (Calling Leliana/female warden "hot" for example.)

Why so pressed? there are no gay characters in Bioware games. Only Bi, so don't get your panties in a homophobic twist. Your femHawke can still bang Anders to your heart desires, even if he is willling to suck some ____ now and then.

True, but he's a born and raised surface dwarf. I don't think he really care that much about 'the stone' or 'the ancestors'.

Besides "holy sh*t" is a nice, all-incompasing cuss. All religions included!

I doubt Anders would be that changed. I can almost guarantee he'll be as snarky as ever in most situations. There'll probably just be some hot buttons that will push him into serious land now.

Why so srs?  I'm sure however it's written, it will be treated tastefully and, knowing Anders, probably humorously.

I like Anders, but it seems unoriginal to bring back characters from DA:O as party members. I prefer meeting new people. Luckily Valenna wasn't brought back though, I hated her!

anders was funny and a slightly quicker version of alistair what is not to like about that? as for him if he is back and changed (hopefully for the better) i am all for this new yet old character to return. now to wait for real confirmation

Calling the women "hot" is different from using phrases like "holy ****" and so on, especially when it's always been, as people pointed out before, "by the maker/ancestors!" (or, as Oghren liked to use "By the ****** of my ancestors!")

Just seems like a bit of a weird change, although I'm sure I'll get over it.

It's nice to fight beside old friends man. (see Tali, and Garrus)

besides they mentioned that it's very possible that he's not the same Anders you remember.
