Why wouldn't it be the justice from Awa? Thats what I assume.
Well for starters I killed that Justice secondly, I guess it could be possible that there are other spirits that wander the fade that also do.... Justicey things, though really at this point its all speculation and rumor.

Anders Epilogue slide #4:
[*]If left to defend the Keep without enough upgrades to it, he is found dead with an arrow through his neck with hundreds of darkspawn dead in a circle around him; none were touched with a blade, but all were felled by magic.

Ummm, how will they explain the ending where he might have died?
Then you won't get to meet him, if you import that save file.

Seriously, did you never activate the cat in battle?
And how much do you have to fail at RPGs to get that ending. Someone tells you "hey, we should upgrade our keep/castle/spaceship/hovercraft" that almost universally translates to "hey, people will drop dead if you don't upgrade that thing!"

Anders Epilogue slide #4:[/quote]
Yeah just read that Epilogue slide in the wiki. I was referring to the part where you first meet him and can hand him over to the Templars, who then hang him.
As for that... I suppose that Justice could have brought him back just as the cusp of life was leaving him, but that wouldn't hold up if Justice got the epilogue where he is part of the Warden's for years.
I'd put a good amount of soverigns as it being put under the "unexplained" folder. Or that the Epilogue was a report filed that was to lure Templar's off his scent.

Well, hold on a second. I never knew Wynne or Kristoff before they died and were resurrected by their respective spirits.
I did know Anders. And I may have gotten an epilogue slide saying he died at Vigil's Keep surrounded by dead Darkspawn (getting the slide depends on choices you make).
So yes, they should explain that.
I'm extremely confused, what do you want explained? All the epilogue
slide said was that Anders died, it said nothing of what happened to
his corpse. Spirits bringing bodies back from the dead is believable and
done before in the DA universe. I'm not entirely happy with how they're bringing Anders back either but I don't understand what they have to explain.

Justice is possessing Anders? Where did this morsel of information come from?
A Spirit of Justice, not necessarily the one we know. From Game Informer.

Yeah, I sent Justice on his way after KOing the Baroness, and he more or less became the Guardian of the Blackmarsh. Why he would be interested in possessing someone else would be anyone's guess.
I just hope that any explanation (on Anders's end) is independent of the events of Awakening. I hope for a few references and whatnot, though.

What I want explained is the following:
could be spoilers for people that did not read the article or the post at GreyWardens.whatever (com or org or something) continue at your own peril
That means don't complain if you didn't know this!!!!
When Justice inhabited Kristoff, there was nothing of Kristoff there except some hazy memories. There was no "Kristoff" personality there, just a rotting corpse. Which, by the way, continued rotting.
If Justice is animating a dead Anders body, is there an Anders personality? Seems there is. Why? Will the body continue to rot? Don't seem that way. Why not?

Kristoff = Warrior
Anders= Spirit Healer Mage.
Anders has been supported by Spirits for a while now. It's easily understandable for him to have more benefits of being possessed post mortem by a spirit than Kristoff had.

You make a good point and I hope it's
explained correctly. I don't think it's that bad though, as we've seen
before there seems to be varying degrees of how spirits can bring back a
dead person. They can take over fully like Justice or just bring them
back and sustain them while leaving the personality intact like Wynne. Anders condition sounds a lot like Wynne's with a twist. Would be nice if we get an explanation describing how this spirit revival business works, leaving it as a mystery so that no one can complain would be cheap.

I hope Anders isn't technically a corpse... 'Twould totally kill the romantic mood.
Bioware noticed all the requests for various kinds of romances, such as incest, and thought they'd thrown in necrophilia so as not to alienate any potential forum complainers saying there's no romance for them.

ETA: stephen1493's idea is very appealing to me, it makes sense (at least with how I ended my own version of the game).
