It says
"When he meets Hawke for the first time, they head off to rescue a friend of Anders from the Templars. Upon arriving, they discover the friend has been made Tranquil and then in his anger, Anders becomes possessed by a Spirit of Justice."
So does that mean we're going to have both Anders and Justice as the same companion?

wait wait
wasn'r Anders asking Justice about possession and whatnot?
What if Anders is "not what we think he is" because he has allowed a spirit to meld with him like Wynne's hope spirit?
Apparently they were foreshadowing what was going to happen in DA2.

That's the speculation. Could be another Spirit of Justice.

Still it'd be interesting to have both of them in the same body. It'd be funny if they started arguing with each other.

Anders passes by a brothel on the way to Hawke's house...
Justice- (Inside head)- No.
Anders- Oh, come on!! I didn't even say anything!
Justice- Our deal is that we were to only do what is right.
Anders- Why can't the right thing and the fun thing ever be one in the same?

Anders: That was so great... -breathes heavily as Hawke gets up and dresses-
Justice: Yes, Hawke certainly does know how to handle a...sword..N-Now we must go and perform acts of justice!
Anders: She certainly did herself justice. Champion of Kirkwall.. -sighs happily and reflects-
Justice: N-No! That is not what I meant...We must prevail over the acts of injustice!..Thats it.

"Talking to himself."
Anders- Justice, I've got a querry.
Justice- How may I assist you?
Anders- Would you consider a worker doing a good job and being sufficiently rewarded for it as justice?
Justice- WE ARE NOT GOING TO THE BROTHEL.

I have...mixed feelings about all this. If it's still Anders, just with the spirit inside him like Wynne, then I'm fine, but if it's just Justice in Anders' body? Meh, not my thing. As long as Anders is still in there somewhere I'm happy.

Dunno, I'd rather have a zombie Anders, than a Sting Anders. Although zombie cats scare me, damn you pet cemetary.

Honestly, this is terrible news. I was very excited about Anders because he's like Alistair without the whining, but this whole "possessed" business makes me wonder what the point is in even having him come back at all.

It wouldn't make any sense if it was the same Justice, since it seems that Hawke meets Anders early in the game, which would be while Origins was still going on, or at least, before Awakening. And Justice makes it very clear in Awakening he's never possessed a body before.

Yeah :/ Hopefully he'll be a bit more like his old self. Non-whiny Alistair would be fantastic. Makes jokes but doesn't have a hissy fit about everything you do.

"early in the game" can easily mean after Awakening, considering the timeskips. It's ten years, remember?

Anders: A note to the wise, Hawke; never live with friends. You think you get along well enough but when it comes time to make the move, next thing you know you're in cramped quarters and he's wearing your clothes and eating your food and, well, the relationship suffers.ZaroktheImmortal wrote...

I'm guessing there's a time skip after the Hawkes flee Ferelden, and we pick up the story in Kirkwall after the events of Awakening.prazision wrote...
