We do know a person can share their body with a spirit. Connor shared his body with a demon in Origins. Granted, that demon completely dominated him and gave him no control of his body at all, but Justice doesn't strike me as the type to do that.stephen1493 wrote...
A spirit "possession" has never been done before. For all we know Anders could share the body.prazision wrote...
It wouldn't make any sense if it was the same Justice, since it seems that Hawke meets Anders early in the game, which would be while Origins was still going on, or at least, before Awakening. And Justice makes it very clear in Awakening he's never possessed a body before.
Honestly, this is terrible news. I was very excited about Anders because he's like Alistair without the whining, but this whole "possessed" business makes me wonder what the point is in even having him come back at all.

"early in the game" can easily mean after Awakening, considering the timeskips. It's ten years, remember?
At first I was bummed upon hearing Anders might be possessed, but if it happens like this, I'm all for it. xD I'd romance Anders just for the lulz.Sticky Controller wrote...
( If Anders is a LI lol )
Anders: That was so great... -breathes heavily as Hawke gets up and dresses-
Justice: Yes, Hawke certainly does know how to handle a...sword..N-Now we must go and perform acts of justice!
Anders: She certainly did herself justice. Champion of Kirkwall.. -sighs happily and reflects-
Justice: N-No! That is not what I meant...We must prevail over the acts of injustice!..Thats it.

Okay, since it's such an obvious question I'd assumed that someone must have mentioned it, but I hesitate to read through 30 pages of posts so here it goes and don't yell at me for repeating:
Could Anders have died in Awakening? If you don't conscript him does he die? If you leave him at the Virgil's Keep while saving Aramanthine, could he also die there?
Actually...cough...Justice possesses Anders.stephen1493 wrote...

Yes.
Maybe. He might have escaped.
Depends if you had the vigils keep properly defended. If no, then Anders bites the dust.

I would expect only a few lines (max of 5) describing what had happened at the epilogue. That's not to say that he won't be listing the Warden's exploits throughout the game.SgtElias wrote...

This makes me wonder if players that had Anders die during their playthrough get a different Anders than those that saw him survive. I assume it'd be easier to just do one Anders/Justice combo, but I suppose it's possible that it'll be different depending on your epilogue. Anders survived: Anders+Justice. Anders died: Just Justice in Ander's body.
Like I said, it's more likely it's just. . . uniform for everyone. But I suppose anything is possible.
