I like Anders but I'm still skeptical of this especially when it says he's the first companion we get. First, Anders wouldn't be available until after the Blight and Awakening. Which means about 2 years into the story line. And it sounds that our adventures in Kirkwall start one year after running away from Lothering. We shall see then

If Anders is in DA II I'm curious how they will resolve that the last we saw him, he was a very high level grey warden.

I will have to play Awakenings over again it seems to get a better recall of him. I immediately didn't like him or trust him from the initial meeting but he was not so bad after that if I recall.

It doesn't matter. The writers mentioned several times that if they wanted to bring someone back, they would, dead or not in your ending version.

Anders wasn't a favorite of mine (I did only play Awakening once so far, so...)



but I liked him enough. I'm happy with the addition - considering the line-up so far, he's likely to be one of my favorite companions now if Garrus and ME2 are any example for my experiences.

I don't really dislike Anders, but I don't want constant reminders of the Warden and Ogren really didn't do it for me in Awakening. It could go either way for me, I guess.

Yes, but for that matter, your Warden could die in Origins.

Me, I'm still having trouble seeing how they're going to Reconcile the timeline and the possibility that Anders had to "forget" about 20 levels of experience or possibly more.
