Will Anders still be Anders? I loved him just the way he was... I hope whatever Anders is going through leaves the bulk of his personality intact.

Yeah, basically this. I really liked Anders' personality, and it'd suck considerably if he just... wasn't anywhere near the same person anymore. I do find the whole thing rather interesting, but there's something eternally depressing about the idea of his personality being wiped, so to speak.

Glad to have that out of my system. Seriously though I'm glad it really did turn out to be him, he was my joint first favourite companion in Awakenings (Nathaniel, if you're curious. With Justice and Ohgren comic joint second).

Most of the Anders fanart had been hanging around in the first Anders thread for ages. A lot of artist here have an deviant art account, so I presumed they also posted there.

I can imagine Anders co-existing with a spirit the way Wynne did (assuming that Wynne was tellign the truth and that wasn't, I dunno, some really nice spirit lying to us) especially if it's THE spirit of Justice from Awakening. Justice seemed really against the idea of turning into a demon, so if he were to take anyone's body, I think he would have to do so with consent, and a specific purpose... In which case, a majority of our lovable Anders should shine through.

Never thought about it like that. But if anyone I'd have thought Justice would possess Nathaniel? They got along rather well.

I'd certainly hope so, but there's something that makes me a little uneasy when it works as a justification for Anders' (potential) death in Awakening. As far as we could tell, Justice was certainly a great deal more Justice than Kristoff, but if it works in a Wynne-esque type way you'd expect him to retain his normal personality most of the time. From the phrasing of the article the latter seems implied, but I don't even know if I'm conjecturing too much or what anymore. Again, certainly interesting but I'd really enjoy some kind of confirmation that his real personality remains in tact. Because I am greedy. :innocent:

I reckon (hope that Anders/Spirit of Justice thing kinda works like Wynne and her spirit did. It manifests itself in particular circumstances, like when Anders sees his friend's been tranquillised.

From the article it's implied that he's still Anders when you first meet him. He doesn't look like a corpse, so I'm assuming that means Justice was able to "save" him in the dead ending, and otherwise just inhabited him. So every now and then we get glimpses of Justice (OH, I hope it's the same voice actor, although from the video we know it's Greg Ellis for ACTUAL Anders !!!!! SQUEEE) but he's not possessed IYKWIM.



Still, having Justice around is going to affect Anders' personality a fair bit I assume. GOD it will be HILARIOUS seeing how they deal with things if he's an LI!! *CANNOT WAIT*

Wait, you could hear Anders' voice in it? I was trying to figure out if it was still Greg Ellis, but from what I saw of the video Anders didn't speak. Maybe I need to watch it again.

Well... he IS a spirit healer. And they typically need a strong connection to a benevolent spirit of the fade. So... yeah.



But I can't see why they'd bring back Anders only to have him be utterly different. I imagine he'll act like Anders most of the time until s*** gets real and then he'll go Justice mode.

This. I would like to see the spirit only appear when something inhumane/injustice happens, such as the tranquil'd mage.
